JAPAN 🇯🇵

How do I even begin to put into words the past two months in Japan. Do I begin with the memories? the food? The Family Mart? the bars? the vibes?

No, what truly moved me the most were the beautiful people that live here. They accepted me into their country with kindness, warmth, patience when I needed google translate, and so many arigatō gozaimasu’s! A country that lives in a WE mentality not a ME mentality. From the INCREDIBLE people I worked with, to the cocktail bartenders (iykyk), to random strangers on the street-this will be something I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Japan…you have made a way into this heart of mine so deeply and I am going home so full. I LOVE YOU! Arigatō gozaimasu 🫰🏼🇯🇵🥹

I haven’t shared this with my real or social family and friends, but I did a thing in February and I’m so happy I did. I’ve shaved it a number of times since then and this pic is a fresh look at my cut from a few days ago. My dress is a gift from my friend Amy and the necklace is a gift from my new friend Jennifer Hemphill and I’m so grateful to both of them. #shorthair #shorthairdantcare #orange

We enjoyed connecting with alumni & friends at the @bwmusictheatre Showcase reception in NYC, hosted by BW trustee Zarema Jaramillo '00 at @lowensteinllp 🎭

It was a special evening celebrating our BWMT seniors and performers, along with @bwconservatory leadership and BW President Lee Fisher, including a sneak peak at @starmachinethemusical (music and lyrics by brothers Gideon Temple '25 and Hank Temple '26) #YJ4L 🐝
