Day 1, Lake Tahoe

The halls got shinier. The campus got bigger. The bobcats got prouder. 🐾 There were 700 seniors in my class back then, but now I need a map and a Fitbit! So much is changed, but it seems it’s all for the better. I’m happy that they preserved a few lockers to help. Remind us for Gay girls of how we used to decorate and make homemade treats in candy to hype up our football players before the games. 🏈
Touring Cy-Fair High felt like stepping into the future — and at the same time, my own past. 💫

Still smiling from our high school reunion — not just because of the dancing and laughter, but because of everything that’s happened after. 💛

This week, Marcy White, Jennifer Hecht @jenniferfails and I took our beloved teacher, Miss Betty Hunter and my mom @janejacksondaruvalla to breakfast at la Madeleine. 🥐☕

What makes it even sweeter? Me Hunter’s three sons and my mom’s four sons grew up together — and this reunion reconnected them, too. ✨

That’s the real magic of reunions: they don’t just bring classmates back together — they ripple through families, friendships, and memories we didn’t even realize we were missing. 💫

🕺 Reunion Report: We Still Run the Dance Floor 💅

Apparently, rhythm doesn’t expire. 😏
Prince dropped. 🎤 Morris Day walked…then flew. 🪞
Somebody yelled “Get on the floor!” and suddenly the Footloose generation was serving full TikTok energy. 💃📱

We had it all —
👢 the cowboys
👔 the preppies
🕶️ the new wave kids
🔥 the wild cards —
🤓 the brains, 💪🏽the jocks and somehow it worked…really, really well.

Moral of the story:
If you went Cy-Fair High School… you already know.
If you didn’t — well, bless your heart. 😉

✨Still loud. Still laughing. Still dancing.✨

🤣🤣second pic~ZOOM in!
Bestie treated me to an Astros game, and I finalized a buyers contract while treating to delicious dinner.
📸Snapped a pic of my laptop to share with my awesome buyers cause they said ‘Oh no~it can wait. Enjoy the game!’ They already know my work ethic but had to send a lil reminder😉

👦 But oh my gosh~it’s priceless~
I just noticed the boys face refusing to eat ice cream with his grandparents!! He was a cute lil turd and I swear his tongue is sticking out 😋 they had THREE scoops and I woulda thought they were offering him liver & onions
