LONG OVERDUE SPONGEBOB POST!!! (1/3) 🫧

Exactly 5 months ago today, I was performing a show on my 20th birthday. That show was none other than The SpongeBob Squarepants Musical!!! This entire process from audtion to final curtain call was a literal dream come true for me. If I were to tell 5 year old me that one day we were going to star in this musical, they would have flipped out. This show truly brought out my inner child, being able to exist in a world so beautiful, so magical, and truly world renowned. Having this show also be my Super Summer Theatre debut is mind blowing to me. Now 3 years into theatre, I would have never imagine only a 1 year ago doing something this massive and yet it happened.

This opportunity is one that I can not be grateful for enough. When I say this show absolutely changed my life, I mean it CHANGED MY LIFE. SpongeBob, as a show, is now proof to me that I am capable of more than I could ever imagine and that my future is truly UNLIMITED. An opportunity like this isn't one that came lightly, it came with a lot of hard work and dedication. I was always rehearsing dances time and time again (especially Tap for "I'm Not a Loser"), practicing singing and making sure I was understanding things correctly, making sure I had lines down, and overall testing my stamina. It truly all paid off and I am so happy with all the encouragement and all the support and friends I made along the way.

To the beautiful cast and friends of this musical, I sincerely thank you all. You have all introduced me to a whole new world of musical theatre and have been so generously kind to me along the way. Each and every one of you inspires me so much for what I hope to become and what I hope to achieve. All of you have the most amazing hearts and together, we all unite as something supernatural. It was an honor being able to perform along side each one you guys from fellow ensemble members to leading actors and actresses. ❤️

These people, this life, I truly could not be luckier. To Mr. Krabs I think money does matter most, but to Kevin- to me I think I’m finally understanding the value of my people. No amount of glory, riches, or self realized accomplishment can compare to the connections we make along the way. To those I have tagged, thank you from the deepest reaches of my heart for revitalizing this jaded actor’s fire for creation. @kate.stpierre Thank you for holding space for us and for steering this ship through rocky waters always finding the light. @samantha0neil I love you!! you are the best ever thank you for always being my beacon. Lastly to all my spongebob family, consider me your #1 fan in like a patchy way, send me your merch and i’ll see you at your shows ;) one love!!

“you will never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory.” — Spongebob Squarepants …it has been a total honor to bring this iconic character to life on the stage of @supersummertheatre in @thelabtheatrelv production of #thespongebobmusical i have learned many lessons throughout this process but the three most important would be…1-everything gets better if you keep on trying…2-a sponge can be handy when you’re cleaning up spills… 3- sometimes you need a hero with some management skills. thank you @kate.stpierre @anastasiaweiss_theoilfairy
