These photos & meeting @freerolando truly made my day!🫶 thank you 🙏
These are the only photos captured of me from this past weekend @ Summit Sessions. ❤️‍🔥
I must say i was truly blown away at the incredible intention, love and dedication that went into this event. Im blessed to be inspired by you all. i’m incredibly grateful that i was even considered to part of the artists gallery. @kowtaandfriends 🌲🤘🔊

Ever since the passing of my boyfriend Christian (whoisosirisrex), I’ve truly struggled being in the bass community. I’ve had to be gentle with myself in these spaces and the grief it brings up for me. I know we all have our own daily stressors, & see festivals as a way to connect with friends, which is why it’s so important to never assume what someone is going through and to lead with kindness. We all respond differently to different forms of support…

That being said

I was very excited to be part of this event, but also very anxious to be in a place that meant so much to Christian. He’s truly the reason I still keep myself in this community, but I was split down the middle on whether I was mentally in the place to show up and share. This time of year has proven to be especially hard for me

I’m very sensitive to my environment when grief or discomfort arises. I’ve struggled with CPTSD and PDD since childhood, which is a huge reason I created Artopsy—to give people struggling with mental health a place to connect through art. When I began dating Christian, he really helped pull me out of my shell in social settings. Even without the heavy emotions, sharing my art still feels incredibly vulnerable.

Unfortunately, I felt a lot of insensitivity toward my reality and emotions that arose this past weekend. Although it stemmed from an isolated disagreement, and neglectful communication—it further escalated my grief, and it was hard for me to regulate and integrate.

Nonetheless, I intended to stay focused on my passions, healing, and sobriety. ❤️‍🩹
I’m so so so very grateful to the people who were gentle with me, didn’t force me onto their timeline, and lifted me up with love that wasn’t “tough.” ❤️‍🩹
yk who you are <3
