15 YEARS OLD. NOW IN THE SENIOR GILAS WOMEN’S POOL. 🇵🇭🔥

Tiffany Reyes has been included in the Gilas Pilipinas Women’s training pool preparing for the FIBA Women’s Olympic Pre-Qualifying Tournament 2026, set for August 17–23 in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Despite being only 15, the 6’1” combo guard already has an impressive international résumé.

Reyes represented the Philippines at the 2024 FIBA U18 Women’s Asia Cup Division B, the 2025 FIBA U16 Women’s Asia Cup Division A, and the 2026 FIBA U18 Women’s Asia Cup SEABA Qualifiers.

On her 15th birthday, Tiffany hit a game-winning buzzer-beater against South Korea, lifting Gilas Girls to a 77–75 victory and the Philippines’ first-ever win in the U16 Women’s Asia Cup Division A. 🇵🇭🎯

Before turning 14, she joined the West Virginia Thunder UAA program and competed in the Girls Under Armour Association circuit in the United States.

In May 2026, Reyes announced that she would continue her academic and basketball career at the prestigious Blair Academy in New Jersey.

She was also selected for the 2026 Nike All-Asia Basketball Camp, where she became the first Filipina to earn an All-Star Team selection and Mythical Five honor.

Tiffany is the daughter of former PBA and Gilas Pilipinas big man Jay-R Reyes.

For comparison, Kai Sotto was named to the developmental “23 for 2023” Gilas pool at 15 before being included in a senior Gilas pool at 16.

From Gilas Girls to the senior national-team pool at only 15 years old, Tiffany Reyes is emerging as one of the brightest young prospects in Philippine women’s basketball.

🇵🇭🏀 ASIAN HOOP PULSE PROSPECT 🏀🇵🇭

Meet Tyler Reyes (@tyler_reyes2028), a 6’8” Filipino forward/center from Pennsylvania and a member of the Gilas Pilipinas Youth National Team U16 and U18 Pool. Standing out both academically and athletically with a 4.0 GPA, Tyler continues to establish himself as one of the promising Filipino prospects in the Class of 2028.

Currently representing the Philippines at the Nike All Asia Camp in China as part of the Philippine delegation, Tyler is gaining valuable experience competing alongside some of the top young talent across Asia.

On the court, Tyler brings a strong defensive presence, rebounds with purpose, runs the floor effectively, and competes hard in the paint. His developing footwork and ability to stretch the floor with perimeter shooting make him a versatile frontcourt prospect with significant upside.

As he continues to grow his game and gain international experience, Tyler is a name Filipino basketball fans should keep an eye on.
