As a father of two, a dreamer, a writer, an actor, a musician, and a man who has spent years chasing what God placed in my heart, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude.

And honestly… this moment isn’t just about me.

My dreams were never meant to be just for me. I believe God put me on this earth to encourage people to live their dreams, serve others, and remind people that there is still something beautiful ahead.

My hope with every show is simple:
That someone laughs.
Someone cries.
Someone feels seen.
Someone feels connected.
Someone feels healed.

Whatever God has next… I trust Him with it.

To my family. My team. My cast. My crew. Everyone who said YES during this season. And every single person who bought a ticket and supported this dream…

Happy Monday, family! I only have about 10 tickets left…I had to open a few more.

I hope you had an amazing weekend.
I just want to give some love to my Sunday Dinner cast and crew. I’m incredibly grateful to be surrounded by such talented people, but even more grateful to be in a room where we support one another, love one another, and genuinely show up for each other.

I like to consider myself a servant leader; someone who leads with the mindset of serving others. And this production has reminded me how beautiful it is when everyone brings their gifts, helps one another, and creates something together.

God has been doing so many amazing things simultaneously, and I’m just giving Him all the thanks and honour.

And with that, I’m inviting YOU to come experience Sunday Dinner.

This isn’t just a show. It’s a story about family, grief, loss, laughter, forgiveness, and the complicated ways we find our way back to one another.

IRON SHARPENS IRON — WOMEN’S SPACE

Fall is here.

And it’s not just sweater weather. It’s a seasonal transition.

The leaves begin to change. The evenings get darker earlier. And with less sunlight, some of us may feel the shift in our energy, our mood, and the way we show up.

But seasons change and we have to be willing to change with them.

So this fall…

Fall for your dreams.
Fall in love with the woman God is calling you to become.
Don’t fall for mediocrity.
Don’t fall back into old patterns.
Don’t fall for anything that makes you question your worth.

And most importantly, don’t allow a darker season to dim the light God has placed inside you.

Let this season remind you that you are allowed to evolve. You are allowed to rest. You are allowed to release the things you’ve outgrown.

Make room for what God is growing in you. Protect your peace. Stay connected to your sisters. And be intentional about how you show up.

This is a season of release.
A season of growth.
A season of becoming.

God is good! 🙏🏾 I’m so thankful for the opportunity to announce that my latest stage play ‘SUNDAY DINNER’ is coming back for an Encore Presentation on Friday, October 9th, during our Canadian Thanksgiving long weekend.

This is a play written and directed by ME lol! And y’all… it’s a Theatre Show it’s a comedy! Not a dinner.

And I hope you understand Patois… 🇯🇲 If you ….Don’t worry, I’ll teach you before you come!

Make it a Friendsgiving. Make it a night out. Bring your family, bring your friends, and come experience Black theatre right here at home.

I’m incredibly thankful for my amazing cast and crew who continue to be part of this journey, and I’m thankful for everyone who supported us the first time around.

Ron knew something had to change. He just wasn’t quite ready to face it.

He was aging, his mobility was declining, and he had learned he had a terminal illness.

His home had become overwhelming. Decades of belongings had accumulated, his dog was becoming difficult for him to manage, and there wasn’t family nearby who could step in and handle everything.

And this home represented much of Ron’s life savings.

Selling it as it was could have meant leaving a significant amount of his equity behind.

So we stepped in.

And this wasn’t a job for one person. It took a strong, experienced team.

We sorted, decluttered, donated, coordinated trades, repairs and cleaning, and prepared the home for market. Then our stager worked her magic, transforming the space so buyers could see its potential.

Ron didn’t have to coordinate any of it. We did.

Through it all, I tried to be patient with Ron… except, as he says himself in the video, when being patient was no longer serving him.

Sometimes people know what needs to happen. Facing it is another matter.

My job wasn’t to judge or rush him. It was to understand what he was facing, protect his interests and help him move forward when he was ready.

The transformation of the house was remarkable.

But the house was never the most important part of this story. Ron was.

Sunday Dinner Synopsis:

It’s about coming back together as a black family and remembering where we came from, confronting the things that pulled us apart, and rediscovering the importance of simply sitting around a table and sharing a meal.

Somewhere along the way, those Sunday dinners, those conversations, those rooms filled with family, became something we lost from generation to generation.

My hope is that Sunday Dinner makes you remember those moments, and inspires us to fill those rooms and those tables again.

And before y’all start… 😂 NO, I’m not asking you to bring fried chicken. 🍗
No mac and cheese. No pie. 😂

We are NOT having a meal.

The meal IS the play. 🎭🍽️

DEAR SEPTEMBER.

A new season is here.

The kids are back to school.
The routines are changing.
Summer is slowly coming to an end.

And maybe it’s time for us to get back to ourselves.

Not the version of ourselves that has to have everything figured out.

The version that’s willing to learn, lean, surrender and grow.

We’ve been walking through Psalms together this summer, watching David wrestle with fear, doubt and uncertainty, and then remind himself of who God is.

And this morning, our sister reminded us how easy it is to get trapped in our own minds.

Overthinking.
Replaying conversations.
Trying to control outcomes.
Carrying things God never asked us to carry alone.

Maybe the shift we need isn’t a new environment.
Maybe it’s a new mindset.

So this season, let’s connect.

Let’s pray together.
Laugh together.
Heal together.
Encourage each other.
And build together.
