Today we will talk about why masculinity should not be a competition🏃🏾💨. It’s important for us to look at why are the upheld norms of men asking us to be something that is the opposite of considerate🤷🏾? I’d like for the men 🧑🏽‍🎨 who follow me to sit with how you interact or don’t interact👨🏾‍💻 with this side of Male culture, and really take time to understand what have you accepted and not accepted. Let’s take this time and DISMANTLE PATRIARCHY TOGETHER 🔥

I need you to vote. Canvas. Call bank. Find who you think is not a reptilian and go all the f*ck out for them. Run yourself! Please at the very f*cking least, what you can do for ALL CHILDREN is research for ONE FKING DAY and make informed voting choices. It’s the best we have right now as we work on building something better.

I am so deeply calm right now because the rage and pain, the despair and desperation, the tears that would never end are all right on the surface. And unlike most men, not all men you f*cks, I can control and channel that energy into productive action. A 16 year old boy does not have that ability, their brain is barely developed. This is a symptom of how sick our society is. And this is a loud message of how we are not taking care of our children’s mental health and safety.

RP from @herstoryspeaking The matriarchy would never...

On March 15, 2019, a lone gunman attacked the Al Noor Mosque and the Linwood Islamic Centre in Christchurch, New Zealand, killing 51 people and injuring dozens more during Friday afternoon prayers.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and Parliament passed sweeping, bipartisan gun control legislation within weeks, banning military-style semi-automatic weapons and assault rifles and launching a buy-back program.

Since the 2019 shooting there has been one mass shooting in New Zealand ... at a construction site leaving 3 people dead.

"Australia experienced a massacre and changed its laws.

New Zealand has had its experience and changed its laws... I don't understand the United States" Jacinda Ardern

Today we’re talking about what it means to know when you’re trying to dominate. Today’s topic for dismantling patriarchy takes another look at how or why we defended ourselves. Domination allows for control and control allows for power. What’s important to know is why do you feel called to dominate a Woman when that’s what is not meant for your conversation or feelings. Are these feeling that you have taken on from other men around you that are now yours, or do you think they are more internal than externally driving. The point is when or if you feel yourself trying to have the last word, be the louder person, or take something away to feel power; it’s in partitive to understand why you think this important and than thinking through how to let this go.

keep being one of those

Today we’re breaking down the 4th step to dismantling patriarchy, and that’s understanding women are not your emotional infrastructure. What’s important for us as men to realize is the small ways we carry ourselves that impact the women inside and outside of our lives. This point is one I feel like isn’t heard enough. We as men have to be able to cultivate just like our women counterparts the ability to lead ones self and to not rely on someone else to the point of codependency.
