This weekend was a beautiful celebration of women, and I feel so lucky to have shared it with such incredible individuals. Some stories stay with us forever… and Eden’s is one of them. 💛

When our founder, Danielle, first met Eden at Texas Children’s Hospital, she was a little girl facing the a rare bone cancer so uncommon it didn’t even have a name. At just 10 years old, Eden had stopped walking, overcome by the pain of a large tumor in her tibia. Her parents carried her everywhere as she fought through treatments that would challenge even the strongest spirit.

Danielle remembers sitting with her, talking about all the milestones she feared Eden might never see like falling in love and getting married.

But God had other plans. 🙏

After 14 rounds of chemo, six weeks of daily radiation, and months without walking, Eden was declared cancer-free. And today, this beautiful and radiant young woman is celebrating a moment doctors once thought impossible…

Eden is MARRIED! 💍🤍

Eden, your journey lights up our mission. Your future is everything we once prayed for. 💫

Congratulations, beautiful girl. Your Dream Rydes family loves you endlessly.

When the @sunshinekidsorg wanted to meet a Broadway star, I called my friend Christopher Jackson—and he showed up right away. He spent time with each of them, made them laugh, and even FaceTimed Lin-Manuel Miranda. Pure kindness and heart. Thank you for an experience they’ll never forget.

This week many of us lost a great friend and incredible human. @joe.miller23 one of our @sunshinekidsorg passed away. He was a true example of how to live life . Positive, Kind, Funny. His smile was contagious. He loved God. I know he is now in a better place. I love you and will miss you so much. #sunshinekids #love
