FYI, I’ve had this custom since 2019. Back then, I was obsessed with making LEGO custom, yet I never finished a single one except for this guy. He was the only one close to completion, but then I completely abandoned it.

That is until the Avengers: Endgame Encore re-release reignited the spark to finish what I started.

Honestly i’m really proud with how this turned out, it holds up really well. To me this is how ideally LEGO’s version should’ve looked like. If I were to make this now I would’ve definitely use their official big-fig head.

Details.

Spoiler: I didn’t finish the double-bladed sword. Back then, I only painted one side of it. Fast forward 7 years, and that paint has already been reduced to atoms.

Terry-verse presents: Project-0.2 (battle machine).

Similar to the Covenant from Halo, I was inspired by this creature based on its role as an antagonist, as well as in the game's story!

But unlike the game, this creature is part of a secret organization in the name of (P), in favor of the globalization of its species involving a complete genocide on planet Earth so that the virus spreads and everyone becomes similar to the symbiotic creature!

Now, explaining the game's antagonist:

The Covenant is a fictional theocratic military alliance of alien races, which serves as the main antagonist in the first trilogy of the Halo game series.

Another year and this community continues to cook. Here's my top 10 favorite posts of 2025 in no particular order.

One of the best customs, of all time honestly, has to be @jerdfigs Mahoraga from Jujutsu Kaisen. Incredibly sculpted and shaded. Translated to the Lego style perfectly.
.
@boba.7567 Ash figure has a great approach to the character. Super clean hair sculpt and that great expression with killer blood detailing.
.
@coucou_kim The Penitent One custom absolutely rocks, everything from the metallic paint, subtle blood, the great pose, to the thorn crown.
.
Played a ton of Marvel Rivals this year, way too much, @benson_bone Luna Snow and Jeff scratched that custom itch. Luna's collar and hair are perfectly designed and printed. The simplistic style works so well here.

@lego.joey build of Cyberskeleton David is super rad. Always liked the minilander scale. Instantly recognizable, I would kill to build this myself.

A perfectly scaled snowspeeder from @fjj_customs. The angles and cockpit are really nicely done. I would love to see a revision that can also fit a Gunner.

One of the current best builders @dera_0503 came out with one of the greatest builds I've ever seen. Some of the most unique uses of weird pieces and techniques this community will not see beaten in a long time.

Perfectly replicated Plastic Beach cover by @uvupv. Great use of colors and pieces.

One of my favorite big projects done this year was @dylanallthemost TF2 RED Team. Every figure was perfectly executed, great weapon mods and likenesses. All skills are put on display here.

@theinnerwhale_customs figures from one of the most atmospheric games I've played, Silent Hill. Great sculpting work for James' jacket and all the work that went into Pyramid Head does not go unnoticed, so badass

Can't wait to see what everyone will come out with in 2026!

Demon Slayer - Giyu Tomioka Custom

Arcane Figures

So I made 6 characters from Arcane, that being Jinx, Vi, Ekko, Heimerdinger, Jayce, and Viktor. Jayce and Viktor are based on their season 2 appearances.
.
Jinx and Vi both use knockoff hair pieces because I hate sculpting hair. Both have painted faces, Jinx’s second expression features a little bit of pink in the eyes to represent the shimmer. The eyes for that are inspired by @jerdfigs and how he’s done eyes like that.

Ekko has a hair by @benson_bone, I just extended the hair a bit. The face is also inspired by @figs2art since I think he did a great job at capturing the likeness of the character.

Heimerdinger uses a 3D printed baby piece by @benson_bone. The head is sculpted and has eyes colored eyes similar to Jinx.
.
Jayce is based on his final outfit seen in the final episode of season 2. The armor both on the torso and arms are sculpted and his hair piece is a slightly modified knockoff. He does also have the crystal in his wrist, I just forgot to show it.
.
Viktor is based on his final form and was a bit tricky to make. The third arm is made using a ball joint system which is an idea I got from @sockuraye.
.

What a year for some amazing posts from all kinds of great creators in the community. Here are my top 10 posts from 2024 in no particular order.

First off, we have @anon_figs awesome Spike Spiegel figure. Biased? Maybe, but we can't deny how incredibly clean this came out. The alternate outfits and faces can lead to so many creative combinations.

@lm9_productions "The Ghoul" figure came in with phenomenal scuplt work and a great likeness. Very rad seeing this all come together.
.
@jerdfigs Jujutsu Kaisen project was my personal favorite to come out of this year. Yuji and Choso serve as a testament to your skills as a customizer, and you never fail when it comes to crushing Legos style when painting faces.
.
The Penitant One from @ndl.workshop is such a good figure all around. The scuplt work of the Crown of Thorns and the Mea Culpa Sword are really impressive.
.
Guts from @the.brick.lobster comes in with genuinely a great likeness to the character and really nice scuplt addition for the hair. The shoulder armor and paint work is killer.
.
@dylanallthemost hit us with one of the most creative figs this year. Dylan's Scarface just makes sense with that small minecraft body. Love that it can also be used with any figure.

One of the best fig barf creators out there @mfj.customs with an early banger this year. His Netflix Daredevil post has a really keen eye for details and is able to make everyone instantly recognizable.
.
I really enjoyed @iron.bricks ABC-Verse project and absolutely nailed Rebecca from Edge Runners. Insanely Lego-like and want nothing more than a collab with @jaka.brick_ to make this a real custom fig.
.
@lego.joey with a great miniland scale Jeep Honcho from Twister. This build rocks in every way and would love to make this for myself.
.
@dwalinforkbeard and his Snotty Golem is a super rad build. I've always liked the Geolix bigfig from Power Miners, and this beats it in every way possible.
.
Can't wait to see all the new posts everyone will come out with in 2025!

Well this raps up another awesome year. “I won’t watch this anymore!” Beast Gohan from Dragon ball super hero. First thing first big thank you to @jerdfigs for making this hair sculpt and face for me many months ago, it’s always been a dream of mine to own something from him. He truly is such a nice guy and does amazing work so please go check him out if you haven’t. Another big thank you to @yjeong_designs for the amazing leg print I’ve been holding on to for like a year now, if yall want to get a pair please check out his shop @printmaniacfigs and also the base I did not make on my own, you can find them on AliExpress, it might take some digging though. Brickworld Chicago 2024

Hey guys, I’m still alive.

My first time at Brickworld Chicago, as well as my first time traveling for a LEGO convention, was an absolute blast!

It’s always great seeing these amazing people every year, and the change in venue made this year feel so refreshing.

I got to see some amazing builds and I got to meet some incredible people. Definitely a convention I’ll remember forever! Hopefully we get to do this again next year!
