Necromancer - V9 (November 29, 2025)
.
Technical, tensiony, and full of power, this boulder definitely suits my style. The only real struggle I had was swinging the feet over to the large dish but I solved that by copying @dylanboulderz beta and slamming my right hand into the crimp. This made the problem a little harder as a whole but made the move WAY easier. Adjusting that heel before going to the first pocket also made the move upward much better and less awkward on my hips.

Karasu (カラス) 🌟 8A+/V12 ✅️🐦‍⬛

On Sunday, October 12th, session #43 on Karasu, I finally found myself standing on top of this beauty! 🥹

After so many failed attempts on the phoenix crux that day, I honestly thought the sesh was over. But after a long rest and near the end of the day, I walked back to Black Cave and told myself: “I wanna defy gravity and float.” I put on the same song from the video and started floating!🦅

It was such an unreal burn! Every move I hit came with flashes of all the tries, all the memories. When I stuck the finish jug, the first image in my mind was that -12°C day with @leo_wolfe & @sheldon04_ when we could barely touch the first move. I remember telling them: “Bro, I don’t think I’ll ever send this.” 😅

Two years later, all 3 of us made it happen!😌

This send and breaking through 8A and 8A+ outdoors within two weeks still doesn’t feel real. This Thanksgiving and these past few weeks reminded me how insanely grateful I am for this sport, this community, the lifelong friends, and all the core memories we’ve made at Glen, the best crag in the world in my book🗿Also shoutout to @tokyopowder @unparallelca and @ocun.climbing for your support and kind words!🫶🏼
I hope to keep spreading joy, psych, and positivity all around throughout my climbing journey! I dedicate this send to every single one of you ❤️

And to Karasu, the absolute king line of the black cave, I owe you big time! You taught me perseverance, patience, and to keep believing when it feels impossible! Thank you for everything 🙏🏼❤️

One step closer......

For the first time ever I stuck the karasu first move 4 times in a row!🥹

Tbh the only reason I'm posting this is to prove it to myself that they are no more excuses and if I lock in, absorbe all the universe psych energy & try astronomically hard, I can make the V12 madness happen this year!😌

Absolute mad respect to da psyched crew and everyone I met today for all the awesome vibes ❤️ Also I gotta give a shoutout to ma broda @punt.lee for igniting the send fire for karasu in me once again 🔥 and mega congrats to ma broda @t_vnguyen for 🦅 proud of u dawg 🤙🏼

These days, I am beyond psyched n motivated more than ever and I promise imma make this dream a reality soon 🙏🏼 Stay tuned for next weekend rampage & first on the hit list -> Threat level midnight & Coals to the ashes 😜🤙🏼

Originally we were joking "I'm gonna day flash this beauty" but somehow out of nowhere it actually turned into day flash ⚡️🤣🥳🔥 (Guess I was manifesting it but should've manifest karasu send instead😂😂)
lol not the cleanest send but I ended up repeating it again right after for extra psych 🤩😌💫

I punted this boulder back in February and since then it was just a mission to find this beauty dry to full send!🔥🔥🔥
It is probably the best line on this boulder and one of the best for the grade at Glen!🌟 It's a battle of finding flow, techniques and pulling hard 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Since when I could do this move!" like I'm still in shock how fast this beauty went down despite being my total anti style 😅 but I gotta say tho I can feel my body is now different! Last year, karasu was kinda a big dream, but I think this year is the year of madness, so stay tuned for astronomical psych!😜🔥🤙🏼🌌💫
