The lobby of The Nantucket Hotel (@thenantucket ), designed in collaboration w/ @michaelthomasandco as Creative Director.

The design process for The Nantucket Hotel’s public space began with the long history of the hotel and the famous island it exists on. We started with the paint color, a deep, stormy yet serene blue, which created a rich canvas for the other choices. A combination of modern furniture pieces, custom seating and coffee tables, richly textured fabrics, and antique art pieces sourced throughout the Northeast married the themes of rich historical context and modernity.

The proud reveal of the iconic Nantucket Hotel Lobby. We drew inspiration from our many walks around this enchanting island, and infused every corner with the essence of Nantucket beauty. The granite console tables mirror the granite curbs and the corner table’s base was sketched from an old tombstone. The coffee tables were inspired by the dock’s boat dividers as every item was picked to represent the soul of the hotel. We’re so excited how it turned out.

Bringing the outdoors in with an arrangement of topiary plants. Although topiaries are super elegant, we would give them an 8 on a scale of 1-10 in terms of plant care. Our clients did a great job of following the plan we provided for plant care. And we’re very impressed.

FAMILY FRIENDLY
⠀
A sun-washed corner of one of our favorite projects for one of our favorite (growing) families in historic Philadelphia. We wanted to make sure mom + dad had a sophisticated, yet easy-to-maintain space to unwind after a day of trying to locate all the accessories their son hides 🥷. We made sure all the pottery was acrylic and everything is child-friendly! LOL 😆
