Finally back home from Los Angeles and still glowing from my brother’s wedding festivities last weekend! 🥳 🎂❤️

With over 200 guests, and family and friends traveling from as far as Florida and even Nicaragua, it was quite the celebration all weekend long!

Some notable highlights for me were:

✳️ giving the #bestmanspeech and toast! 🥂(apparently many people said I did a great job!)

✳️ getting to play the piano for the newlyweds at the very end of the night as they danced to their special song: “Can’t Help Falling In Love” 🎹

✳️ watching my beautiful 10 yr old daughter walk down the isle right after me as their #flowergirl then getting our own daddy-daughter dance later. (Happy tears!) 😭

Congrats again to @mattweinglass and his beautiful bride, Leslie. Love you both very much! ❤️❤️

We had a great @neflnace meeting @sawgrasscc last week! Since joining the board as Treasurer this year, I’ve had an opportunity to contribute to our meetings in new ways. Because May is generally a busy month for our members, we typically plan for this meeting to be one without a formal program where everyone can just socialize and enjoy themselves. I thought this might be a good opportunity to showcase some live music, so @COScelbrations (also on the board) and I teamed up to provide the musical ambiance for the networking luncheon. The theme was: “Social, Sips & Sounds”

We had @cos_corey start out playing 🎷outside on the patio as people arrived and mixed and mingled. This worked out perfectly as I was stationed at the entrance checking people in as part of my responsibilities as Treasurer. It gave people an opportunity to enjoy the nice weather and take in the expansive view of the golf course! Then, when it was time for lunch to be served, everyone moved inside and took their seats at the tables and I played 🎹 while people enjoyed their lunch. As dessert was served, we closed out the music portion with a collaboration of keys and sax on a couple of songs!

Next was time for the raffles and this is another aspect I’m in charge of organizing. We drew the tickets and I had the pleasure of handing out prizes to our lucky winners! Our first time guest winner and the person who invited them received a bottle of wine generously provided by @toastwithcocktails.

We closed out our meeting with a group photo - success!

About 20 minutes into my debut 🎹 performance @jaxairport ✈️ on Black Friday,
a ballerina in red with a professional photographer appeared! And then this happened…….

(plus I did pretty good in tips!)
Yep, I think I’m gonna like this gig! 😍 🎉

What are the chances? On the exact same day, I got to meet and perform with two extraordinarily talented, internationally acclaimed female singers!!!

During the day I teamed up with @hodaya_singer to perform for the Woodland Hills Rotary Club holiday party @sagebrushcantina! And that night I met up with @iamgedina for a private holiday party in Los Angeles!

At both gigs I set up my keyboard and sound system, met the singer for the first time, had about 10 min to go over the set list, then it was show time!

Everyone had a blast at both parties! We are pros and love what we do! 💕

➡️ I also played another holiday party at Bel Air Bay Club in between these two gigs, bringing the day's gig total to three!!! Woh 😲

I'm so grateful for the full holiday season of gigs to be back this year! 🙏
