I can’t believe that this chapter has finally come to an end. I’m so glad I got to call @lanzi_academy_ofdance my second home for the past 15 years. I am so grateful for the life long friendships that I have made and I will hold them close to my heart forever🩷

Separate Ways🖤🌌 I am so proud of this passion project of mine. After a few-year hiatus, me and @chrisjohn2005 finally decided it was fitting for me to give it a go with a comeback solo. After searching for a song and being inspired by @valentinagulino senior year solo, we both agreed “Separate Ways” was the right fit. For me, this solo has a deeper meaning than any of my previous solos; it represents my journey as a performer through the years and overcoming mental blocks that held me back from my greatest potential. I chose to go separate ways. While acknowledging where I started, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for myself and for my parents, for pushing me and truly supporting me through a journey some parents would be ignorant to even undergo. I am so grateful for @chrisjohn2005’s visionary expertise and commitment to making something special for me—you truly are one of the greatest inspirations. Your dedication to your students and craft never goes unnoticed. Thank you to my supporters who have given me the motivation to keep going! To my pappy elder, with deep respect, I thank you for the encouragement you instilled in me at a young age to be myself. I still remember him asking me if I wanted to be on Broadway someday, and he continued to say that if I believed in myself, I could accomplish anything. I hope I am making you proud. Thank you to my brothers and grandparents for all of the support and love. Once again, here is “Separate Ways,” which received a Crystal adjudication, 1st overall senior leading solo, and 3rd overall All-Star solo at Showstoppers.
