Special shout out to one of my favorite riders: Jeremy Hudson @jerhudvt

2 years ago, we shared a dream line together during a white-out in the Revelstoke side country.

I’m excited for everyone to see what we shot last spring in Québec. That will be in our next film. For now, it’s this little throwback snippet from ‘Dream Season.’

Final Live Screening This Friday!

3/7 - Vashon Island, WA
Camp Colvos Brewing

Bringing our film to the hometown of Taylor Butz and Oli Christophersen, who both appear in the film.

They showed me the magic of the Cascades, which became Chapter 3 of Dream Season.
Alpental has some of the most ripping, technical sidecountry on earth. Challenging and rewarding at the same time.

Southcentral Alaska pull up!

2 live screening events of “Dream Season” coming your way:

2/28 - Blue & Gold Boardshop - Anchorage, AK - 6pm
*Also screening “Why For?” by the homie Josh McClain.

3/1 - Alpenglow Coffee - Girdwood, AK - 4pm
*Right at the base of Alyeska!

A lot of snowboard videos out there make Alaska look completely inaccessible, and like it would take an expedition team to snowboard there. I wanted to show different side of Alaska—where you can ride right out of a neighborhood or on the side of the road, and still get all the beauty and rush of big mountain freeriding.

Toddler Jam 2023. Most happiest birthday to my 3 year old twin boys! Lincoln Hill tractor wagon rides, Uncle Luke's new multilevel playground, a double wide sandbox, and the biggest dooryard west of Ole Greenback. This is how we party on the farm with the littles.

I had the complete joy of photographing the Hudson family a few weeks back. While we were adventuring through the woods scoping out the best spot for pictures, I looked back at these two coming up behind us and found this rare moment of Jonas snuggling his Mom. This was such a difference to this adorably feisty kid running around and showing off his baseball-throwing skills that I knew I had to capture this, and I am so proud of how this photo came out. Not only am I pleased with the color and composition (hello matching dress and goldenrod!), but even in the moment I knew the photo was going to be something special. .

Childhood speeds right on by, but that really is what makes being present to each and every moment such a joy. I truly believe all families deserve to have life captured in a way that reflects their unique and silly selves, and quiet quick moments like this one is all part of the package. How lucky are we that moments like these can be preserved and shared for a lifetime?
.
If you know someone who needs the little moments with their family captured for a lifetime, tag them here. I will always be game for running around the woods (or anywhere really) and capturing those moments when no one is looking. Thank you Jeremy and Lindsay for inviting me in to your family's life for a day!
