@marytcaus and I were just talking the other day, and Catherine & Jason’s Bear Ridge wedding was one for the books when it comes to weddings at Bear Ridge.
From the florals by @pastoral.co and the help of Catherine’s brother, Ben, to the personal handwritten notes for each guest tucked inside brown envelopes at each place setting, every detail reflected who they were as a couple. The kindest and sweetest two people we will every meet.
But most importantly, it was uniquely them.
The hat bar was such a fun experience for their guests, and the branded cowboy hats waiting on each bridal party member’s chair were the perfect personal touch.
It’s weddings like Catherine & Jason’s that remind us there is no right or wrong way to do your wedding design. The best weddings are the ones that tell your story and reflect who you are as a couple, and theirs did exactly that.
Definitely looking for Bear Ridge weddings like that for 2027. 🤍

WE would love for you to inquire if you have a different style, full florist, and personal touches for your guest!

I feel beyond lucky and grateful to be able to take this pause from being a stylist and business owner to complete our family and just be their Mom. I am slowly planning my return behind the chair in the fall but it feels heavier this time around. Balancing my roles will likely never get easier, but it will always be worth it. Thank you to @hairbymackennacarson for taking care of my clients while I have been home and to my clients for letting her 🫶🏼 Thank you to the rest of my team for loving our space like it is your own. I can’t wait to be back at my home away from home, laughing and crying and making magic. I miss you all so damn much.

Love,
A very, very sleep deprived mom of THREE covered in breastmilk and spit up 😵‍💫

Also, @jerickaleephotography is unmatched behind the camera 😮‍💨😮‍💨 Go vote for her for Best of 716!!

Okay hi!! I realized I haven’t shown my face around here in a while, so I thought it was probably time for a little reintroduction 👋

I’m Adelle, the photographer and heart behind For Love and Life. Since there are some new faces here, I thought it would be fun to share a few random things about me!

I’m a wedding and portrait photographer in Buffalo, and I also own a natural-light photography studio called @pic_buffalo which has been such a fun little dream of mine. ✨

My husband Joel and I also get to work weddings together, which is equal parts really fun and us telling each other to move out of the other person’s shot 😂

My favorite job in the entire world is being Mateo’s mum. He’s 17 months old, obsessed with cars, completely hilarious, and takes up approximately 97% of my camera roll. 😍

I grew up in England and now live in East Aurora, NY. I absolutely love it here, but England will always feel like home. 🫶🏼

I have my MBA, which sometimes surprises people since my life now mostly consists of cameras, weddings, a photography studio, toddler snacks, and researching things on the internet 😂

I’m currently obsessed with finding beautiful little European villages and countryside villas, even when I have absolutely no trip booked there. 🤷‍♀️

I will research a $30 purchase for three hours but impulsively book a trip to Europe 😂

My comfort shows are New Girl and Schitt’s Creek, and I could rewatch either one forever.

And something I genuinely believe is that people should romanticize their own lives more. Buy the flowers, wear the outfit, take the photos, make the coffee, go somewhere pretty. Life is happening now. 💛

Anyway, that’s a little bit about me! I’d love to know who’s here too. Tell me something random about yourself in the comments, or tell me which one of these you relate to most ✨🥰

P.s. thanks to my friend @jerickaleephotography for snapping these headshots for me at @theliveweddingexperience 🫶🏼
