August 2026 lit the spark. 🔥 I really started feeling the joy again. So much love, reconnecting, and fun. I left a piece of my ❤️ in Tallahassee, but I’m excited for all she will accomplish. I’m keeping this energy.

As I approach my birthday, I’ve decided it’s time to share something I’ve been holding close for a little over a year.
I was diagnosed with stage 2 triple negative breast cancer.

I kept it in a small circle because I had to — I was focused on the fight, and I couldn’t afford to think about cancer all day every day. It was already all-consuming. So I went inside, focused on care, rest, and so many things I didn’t know come with being this sick.

I’m on the other side now. Post-chemo. Post-surgeries. CANCER FREE! But still healing. And the one thing I feel compelled to say — the only reason I’m sharing this publicly — is please, DO NOT DELAY YOUR MAMMOGRAM.
I was late by mistake. Schedule confusion. And I believe that delay made my journey harder. That stays with me.

Breast cancer is treatable when caught early. And if funds are ever a barrier — low-cost and no-cost mammogram centers exist in your community. Ask for help finding them. There is no shame. Find them. Use them.
The world needs to stop for your mammogram. Every year. On time.

To the people who carried me through this season — there are no words. You know my heart. 💝 I’ll be back outside soon.
