Why prioritize shoulder stability?
...
We focus a lot of time and effort strengthening the shoulders and improving stability of the rotator cuff in the weight room. 💯
•••
The shoulder joint is the least stable joint in the human body which allows for its incredible range of motion but makes it susceptible to injury. 💪
•••
To offset this cost and to prevent injury during sport, it’s important to prioritize the shoulder and rotator cuff in training, especially for any overhead or throwing athlete.🧠
•••
Bands are a great option to train both external rotation and internal rotation of the rotator cuff as they offer resistance through a full range of motion with the intensity peaking at the end range of motion. 📐
•••
Shoulder strength and function are imperative to athletic success. Keep em’ healthy and stay uncommon!!
