Someone has a new toy that will last a lifetime. Thank you for the opportunity to share this experience with you @jerkymedic One of the most rewarding things about creating something custom for someone is just that. There is one. Only one. Being part of their story. So make it good! Thank you!

Check it out! Pushed the boundaries of my skills, experience and expectations. Burned by hand which is something I have never done before and I’m proud of the way it turned out. 5 coats of oil in and sucking it up. Someone is getting a kick ass custom end grain cutting board. This thing started as a 2 inch live edge, rough cut slab and is now a finished custom piece. What does your kitchen need?

Wait for it! Tis the season for color change!

Wetting the wood is actually a functional process important to obtaining the smoothest surface possible! Once sanded and wet down, the grain “pops” and comes out of nowhere, begging for another sanding.

“SHE THICK!” First taste of the work put in. Book matched, milled from 2”, live edge black walnut slabs. What can I say, I bought a tree. @jerkymedic so much beef jerky is going to be packaged on this beast!
