⭐️ Junior World Championships 2026 ⭐️

The biggest regatta of our season is over, and what a week it has been.

It definitely didn’t start the way we wanted. We struggled to find our rhythm and couldn’t show what we knew we were capable of. On the first day, after a bad nose dive, things got even harder. Malena injured her ankle, Liv ended up needing stitches in her chin. Safe to say, this regatta really tested us.

We kept fighting every single day, and towards the end of the week things finally started to come together. We found our rythm again, gained places in the rankings, and even got our first bullet! 🤩 We finished the regatta in 8th place out of 26 boats.

Of course, it’s a bit bittersweet because we know there was more in it for us. But we’re leaving with a lot of motivation and even more hunger to keep pushing ourselves.

A huge thank you to everyone who’s been supporting us. Our parents, our coaches @ricca.giuliano and @solbranz, the @swisssailingteam, and all our sponsors. We honestly couldn’t do this without you, and we’re so grateful to have you behind us. ❤️

And then we also want to congratulate @team_manarin for the third place!! You really deserve it and we‘re really happy for you! 🫶
Congrats aswell to the whole swiss team ❤️‍🔥

Back to training, and we’re excited for what’s next. ⛵️💪

Junior World Championship 2026 — done! 🏁

We are proud to finish 9th overall and 3rd U21 team! 🥉

We sailed 12 races, most of them in windy conditions. Especially the first day brought survival conditions, and we weren’t able to show the performance we knew we were capable of. Despite this tough start, we managed to come back stronger over the following days and fought our way into the top ten! 💪🏼

Of course, there were also some disappointing moments, but looking back, we are incredibly proud of the progress we have made over the past year — especially in strong wind. At last year’s Junior Worlds, we were barely able to finish races in these conditions. This year, we were able to battle it out with the top teams.

We had a lot of fun on the water and can’t wait to be back on the boat soon!

A huge thank you to our coach @susannbeucke for supporting us through every high and low and always making sure we can show what we are capable of. We really enjoyed the time together!

We also want to say a big thank you to our sponsor @sl_naturenergie and our sailing club @nrv.1868 @muehlenberger_segel_club @segeljugendhh for supporting us on our journey and making all of this possible!

And last but definitely not least, thank you to @daniel_kraft , who has been supporting and coaching us for more than two years now. You have been a constant part of our journey, helping us grow not only as sailors, but also as a team and as individuals. We are incredibly grateful to have you by our side! 🫶🏼

Now we are off to holidays first! ☀️😎
