Junie came to us frozen in fear—-rescued by @furpawswithlove because she truly deserved a chance.

Some people thought Junie was a bait dog, because of her extreme fear and the scar remnants on her face and body. But she learns to trust again.

And the most beautiful part of all? She found love—Jerome. 💛
It was love at first sight, and now she’s not just adopted—she’s living her best life.

I love making these videos. I love working with these types of dogs, and I’m so grateful to the rescue for trusting me—and to Jerome for giving Junie a chance. 🐾✨

According to Madonna’s rabbi during a 1998 episode of VH1’s Behind the Music, 40 is “the age of wisdom.” Was he saying this just to keep her coming to the Celebrity Centre? Who knows. In the meantime at age 40 I feel wise about exactly the following: the love of the friends and family in my life, and how it propels me every day. It makes me arguably the most vivacious Jeopardy! loser in television history. On Sunday, after my third round of Scrabble with my scoundrel mother, I broke down like a Julianne Moore character thinking of my incredible birthday weekend and all the strange whodunit characters who made it amazing. So grateful to everyone who was a part of it — including my mischievous bff @merrimanaf and my longtime guardian angel @andrewbriancolon. Thank you for being there or sending along your greetings or simply screaming when you heard I was nominated for a second Emmy. I’m thrilled, I’m energized, and frankly I feel like I just got home.
