Let’s Be Absolutely CLEAR!

This Year I Celebrated 20 Summers Not Only As A DJ, But As An Entertainer And Curator Of Vibes…

BUT! I’d Like To Dive A Little Deeper Than That In This Post…

This Has NEVER Been And Will Continue To Not JUST Be A Boston Thing To Me…

I Know How It Felt To Be A Younger DJ In ‘06 Just Starting Out In This Game w/ @thatguybroc And Fight For Respect In The Booth Amongst My Peers… I KNOW How It Felt To Learn This Thing From The Absolute BOTTOM And Fight For Recognition In A Small Entertainment Market… Which Is EXACTLY Why I CHOOSE Not To Stay In The Club Scene In My 40s And Take Opportunities Away From Younger DJs!

That Choice Led To More Openings Not Only Just In My Community But More Opportunities To Do What I Love All Around The Country And Eventually Outside The U.S.!!! From Switching To Full Time DJing This Year, Establishing @authenticity_pvd In Providence, Relaunching The @goodmusicshowcaseseries, And So Much More, I’ve Learned That Patience Is Absolutely A Virtue!!!

I May Not Be The Local Market’s Favorite Because Of Those Choices But I Can Rest Knowing That I’ll Absolutely Continue To Be The PEOPLE’S Favorite When It Comes To Serving My Community Through Providing Local Artists A Platform To Launch Their Careers For Years To Come!!!

While So Many From My Generation Worry About Being Forgotten Chasing Fame, I Forgot About My Worries Chasing The Bag 😮‍💨🔥

Here’s To 20 More Years Of Success And Happiness, More 1st Class Flights w/ The Best Violinist In The World Mr. @rhettypants 🎻 And More Showcases w/ My Guy @dsticks_ 🥁

Thank You ALL For The Continuous Support And Stay Tuned For More Because I Have So Much More To Give… -Alcide Out 🙏🏾💯

Yesterday we celebrated you! Happy birthday to my little sassy pants, leader of the crew. My baby loves her heals, make-up and styling herself. Cheers to your new growing year let’s see what YOU have in store for US.
