Good dude who loves the Lord.

Today’s Bible verse of the day (10/23/26) was Proverbs 16:3– “Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” When @jerrygarfieldbrown and I considered this trip and how it came about so quickly, we agreed to view it as an assignment from the Lord and to pray into and for Holy Spirit opportunities and encounters.

We forgot to bring gospel tracks and so on Tuesday morning when I woke up the Lord inspired me to create a track to hand out, so Chat helped me quickly put together the image you see.

With much enthusiasm, I committed to sharing the gospel wherever I went using this as a tool. I printed it out on paper in the hotel where the opportunity to share Jesus was revealed immediately. Yes there was rejection, but even more exciting and important, I had 3 conversations about Jesus that led to prayer and more. 🤯👏🏿🙏🏿✝️

The Lord is good. There’s Kingdom work to do in our families, homes, and immediate community, city, country, etc. AND YET AND STILL consider the Book of Acts and how the Lord sent the disciples all over the place and even He himself went many places in the gospels to share the good news.

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians‬ ‭2‬:‭20‬ ‭NIV‬‬

I am so thankful I had the opportunity to join @jerrygarfieldbrown on this trip to the 2026 Global CFA Society® Leadership Conference in London! I was sitting in the audience looking at my man like WHOA 🥹.

Jerry and his fellow panelist had a great discussion with other global CFA Society’s from around the world on Student Engagement, Employability, and Skills.

My @ironmantri husband, @jerrygarfieldbrown, inspires me to exercise and so I started running, swimming, and strength training. I don’t run as often as I should or want to some days. Some days / weeks are harder than others. I’m also slow 🐌 🐌🐌 and (if I’m honest) I don’t like it, but the way I feel when I’m done is more than enough of an encouragement to do it. As long as I can, I will. It’s the discipline of going. Praise Jesus.

Today I ran a mile while it was snowing and recorded my run with this handy chest pack I got off of Amazon.

Anyone want to connect with me via Apple Fitness so we can encourage each other?

Happy Birthday, @jerrygarfieldbrown! I love you! 😘

“Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours. Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table. Yes, this will be the blessing for the man who fears the Lord.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭128‬:‭1‬-‭4‬ ‭NIV‬‬
