I made this video almost 10 years ago.

At the time, I was trying to explain something that’s hard to put into words — what it means to truly love music.

When you love music, you give things up for it. Time. Comfort. Certainty. Sometimes even stability (if you are like me). But the sacrifice never feels like loss… because the work itself becomes the reward.

Sacrifice is love.

And for those of us who chose this path, the journey never really ends.

Still moving. Still creating. Muah. Brooklyn Shanti.

14 years ago @jerrymk saw something in very green, very shy young actor. He decided to give him a shot and work with him as his agent which kicked off his journey in the world of television and film. That kid became me. Now not so green but still quite shy, our paths have crossed once again. I am truly happy to sign with @a3artistsagency and get the opportunity to work with Jerry to start a new chapter and continue to grow in this business. Thank you for taking a chance on me all those years ago. Thank you for the career 🙏

Part 1...Had so much fun celebrating my birthday in Vegas, with friends from various stages of my life, doing all the things!! Bonus? The party stars aligning & also being able to celebrate Jerry's upcoming wedding!! Us girls may not have taken as many pics together as we would have liked, but we sure do have some crazy, awesome memories to look back on. Love you all so much!! #happybirthdaytome #whathappensinvegas
