‼️Long post alert!

This was my first gay soccer tournament and although it didn’t end that great (you’ll have to keep on swiping to find out), the experience was really cool.

We drove for 7 hours from NYC and including all stops it took us 10 hours to arrive to our Airbnb in Provincetown. We had a lot of singalong in the car up, towards the end I took charge of our jam and we sang to Robyn, Zara and ABBA (true 🇸🇪 repping). Here getting the car fed with some chicken vodka pasta.

Running in the morning along the Main Street of Ptown, we saw drag queens on bikes, red Chevrolets, people cheering and generally being friendly.

We ended up at the outer shore of Cape Cod and beautiful big sand dunes.

Provincetown is known as an LGBTQ+ sanctuary and as Massachusetts was the first state to legalize gay marriage, pride flags are visible everywhere in the city.

Nostalgic playing Mario kart in our Airbnb in between activities.

@jakinho_3 was running the show at the Argentine grill.

Fueling up before our first night out with the theme: Wigs and Heels 👠

I was very skeptical if I would dress up for it. I guess I came in with some insecurities and also spending time and money on a one off thing didn’t feel right.

But luckily, there were plenty of extra wigs at the house (huge shoutout to @jerseychrisallen for making them all look pretty), so I blossomed into a Moldovan queen. She hails from the separatist region of Transnistria and has traveled far to experience P-town’s liberal spirit and a fun night out!

The whole Airbnb got into the spirit. Across the entire tournament, there must have been at least 150 soccer players wearing wigs.

This was night two and we had still not kicked a soccer ball.

Finally time for the tournament right beneath the Pilgrim Monument.

Final gala night hosted by @bostonstrikerssoccerclub for all participants.

On our way home we went to Cheesecake Factory, my first time! Staff thought it was my birthday, only two weeks out!

The soccer tournament ended early for me, with a sprained ankle. Luckily @rywilk9 and Alonso helped to carry me around.

Back in the city, I went to the ER to get it checked. I got an Xray and was out within
