Meet Andi 🫶

The greatest gift and sweetest surprise to complete our family. Born last week at home surrounded by her whole family on the most magical night. To say we’re all obsessed is an understatement, this may just be the most loved baby on earth! It has been the best, most sacred week of life soaking up every single second of her perfection, and watching our family of SEVEN marvel at the joy and awe that new life brings. Thank you Jesus!!

Been on a little social media break.
It’s about that time in pregnancy that I begin to turn very inward... My focus on my little family unit, while everything else grows quieter. Soaking up life as we know it and feeling the deep need to prepare my heart, my home, and our family for the beautiful change coming.
Nesting looks like a lot of random house projects and endless organizing, but for me it’s also a deep-cleaning of the soul. Call it whatever you’d like, but I believe it’s part of God’s design and an invitation to prepare a mother for one of the most important and transformative callings on earth.
It’s a season of blocking out the noise, slowing down, and learning to listen again to the whispers of the heart. Even if right now, my heart is just saying we need to throw everything away and organize all the closets!
We are in the home stretch before our lives are changed again forever, so thankful to get to experience this precious season one last time.

When I caught this glimpse, I remembered I’m living the chaos that once felt “too good to be true”. Sure my hands are full, sure nothing’s ever clean (there’s a potty seat in my kitchen 🤪), sure I feel like I’m losing my mind some days, but this is the life I’ve always dreamed of:
Slow mornings while I sip my lukewarm coffee and watch busy little hands and feet hustling about. A house full of brothers and sisters taking care of each other and making memories they will have forever. The chance to teach more lessons in life over lessons in a classroom. Finding God in the mundane every day moments, cause THIS is an answered prayer…Hallelujah!

One amazing surprise after another. God knew our family needed this little one! Makes me all sorts of sappy. FIVE kids!!! I still can’t believe it 🥹

The kids couldn’t wait to find out if a baby brother or baby sister would be joining our crew. So we decided to let THEM find out. With the help of the most incredible midwife @lindseymeehleis , this is one of my favorite moments of this journey so far!! Our last baby, the tie breaker, the sweetest miracle we didn’t know we needed!! We can’t wait!!!!!
