“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6

Wow one year without being in the house where I found God, one year without the young adults who I call family on Tuesday nights, one year without the pastors that trained and equipped me in the ways of God to be the best version that God calls me to be! One year without being in the best youth ministry where I found my passion and learned that leading the next generation is so fulfilling!

Victory your more than a church building full of people your a season of life I will forever be grateful for and any work that I ever do for will always go all the way back to you and what God planted on the inside of me!

Love this house and I miss you family but so grateful for every pastor, every sermon, every leadership opportunity, every live recording, every VYA Tuesday night, every cafe conversation, every Sunday and Wednesday night youth service, and most importantly thank you for presenting the gospel in way that the Holy Spirit said now’s your time to change your life forever!

❤️ you forever Victory Family 🤞

His plan is good. His purpose is greater. His timing is perfect. We can rest knowing that He already knows what’s ahead.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭11‬

OFFICIAL LAUNCH 🚀

For the past year, we’ve prayed, dreamed, met, planned, and prepared for this moment—and now it’s official:

Victory School of Ministry (VSM) is LAUNCHED! 🎉

50 students are stepping into a 4-semester, 16-month journey designed to develop them in Theological Foundations, Spiritual Formation, and Practical Ministry—preparing and propelling them toward a life of full-time ministry.

Every student has sensed a call from God toward vocational ministry, and we feel the weight and privilege of stewarding that call well.

And we’re just getting started.

This semester, our students are diving into courses like:
📖 Biblical Foundations — taught by a New Testament professor from Biola University
👑 The Majesty of Jesus
🔥 The Inner Life of a Leader
❤️ Soul Health
…and so much more.

Our prayer isn’t simply to give students information. We want to form men and women who know Jesus deeply, live healthy lives, lead faithfully, and are equipped to serve His Church.

In the future, we look forward to opening VSM to students beyond Victory who sense God’s call to be the next generation of pastors, leaders, missionaries, and church planters. The best is yet to come for the Church in Atlanta and beyond. We’re just getting started. 🚀

Applications for the 2nd class of VSM open in January, with classes beginning August 2027.

Josiah, walking through the loss of your dad at just 16 was devastating, and the past few years haven’t always been easy. You’ve had to navigate through some tough roads and figure things out, without the one person who should have been there to guide you. Yet through it all, you have continued to press forward, growing and learning through every challenge! And the greatest joy is to watch you seek God when things haven’t made sense! I am so proud of you and the man you’re becoming.

Today begins an incredible new chapter as you step into ministry school. Your bold and confident pursuit of God and your love for Him are truly powerful to witness. I can’t wait to see all that He has in store for you! I know dad would be proud and is cheering you on from the balcony of Heaven!

(And a fun added bonus - Jess is the assistant Director of the School of Ministry, so technically they get to be in it together)

Father’s day looks different for everyone! For some it's a joyful time of celebrating. For some it's a painful or tender day. And for some, it is a quiet day of remembering a father who is no longer here and deeply missed! If you are feeling the void, honor the tension of both joy and tears - they are the gift of how deeply we loved and how much they loved us.

Today I’m holding my memories close, and holding my kids even closer as I honor two incredible men. Navigating the joy and the pain of their absence isn't easy, but every memory is a gift I choose to face, feel, and cherish.

To my kids’ dad - Happy Father’s Day in Heaven, Jeff! While you have received the ultimate gift of being in the presence of our Heavenly Father, we sure do miss you down here - wish we could hear your voice and hug you one more time. But because of who you were, our kids have grown into amazing young adults - each of them carry the best pieces of you within - you would be so incredibly proud of them! Thank you for showing us what it looks like to put God first. You led our family with strength, honor, wisdom, and prayer, always pointing them back to their Heavenly Father for guidance. You were an amazing dad who loved them well. Thank you for all the laughs, the dad jokes, the adventures, and for always making sure we were taken care of. Thank you for being the best for us! Thank you for the foundation you laid, and your love and legacy we get to carry. Miss and love you forever!

To my dad – Before I knew what love looked like - you were there showing it everyday! Thank you for the godly life you lead, the sacrifices you made, the faith and wisdom you helped instill in me and for showing me what a man of God looks like. You were the best! Happy Father’s Day in Heaven dad, you are missed!

God - thank you for being my Father - the best anyone could ever have! 'A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling' (Ps 68:5).
