Life lately 🤍

This trip home has been incredibly soul filling and has given me one of the biggest wake-up calls of my life.

Experiencing loss and watching people I care about go through some of life’s hardest moments has reminded me just how precious life really is.

I feel incredibly blessed to still have both of my parents here with me. I’ve been soaking up every moment with my family and friends, making memories and appreciating the people I love most.

Life is always teaching us lessons. What we go through, we grow through. This season has been one of reflection, perspective, and gratitude.

I’m proud of myself for doing the inner work to find more peace within myself and to be truly present. For so much of my life, I’ve struggled with that.

I’ve learned that when you begin to understand yourself why you think, feel, and react the way you do life becomes a little simpler. You stop fighting yourself and start finding peace within yourself.

Life isn’t perfect, but it becomes a much nicer place to be when you learn to slow down, appreciate the little things, and cherish the people around you.

🥑🍎In the past year, Prahran Market Traders have donated close to 40 tonnes of fresh food to @secondbiteorg which is enough for 74,000 x 500g nutritious meals a year.

We’re proud to say that Prahran Market was the first Melbourne Market to donate fresh food to SecondBite 👍🏼

Funny story. I was out on a date last week, I mention that I needed to book a dentist appointment with Bond st Dental as it had been a couple years since my last appointment because of the current pandemic and the in and out of lockdowns. Yes I know it’s a bad excuse, but it’s easy to forget these things.
While I was eating my dinner I noticed that something was wrong with a tooth, after a quick inspection I noticed that half of my tooth had broken off.
Embarrassed by the situation I quickly sent off a message to @bondstreetdental @drnimaferdowsi . Within minutes I had a response to help book me in for an emergency appointment.
Thank you to the amazing team at Bond st Dental for helping me out, I’ll make sure to stick to the 6 month check ups from now on.

Not an advertisement, I’ve been going to the clinic for 6 years now.

Thank you @drnimaferdowsi @bondstreetdental @jess__carter__ for saving my life:)

Ps: I had a photoshoot next morning

Having an awesome team around you is important for any career. Dentistry is definitely not an exception! ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Fortunately, the team at @northsydneydentalprac is exactly that! Last week, we went away for two nights of team bonding. We played, laughed, danced, hiked, made pizzas, wine and sipped, fed farm animals, made costumes, and even fit in a little bit of training with the awesome @jess__carter__.⁣
⁣
We were all super grateful for @drbenhargreave and @dr.cigdemkipel for taking us away, and it was awesome to hang out with everyone outside of our hectic workplace 🙌🙌

When I arrived at @bondstreetdental for my standard checkup & @jess__carter__ tells me she has a surprise for me - I instantly went into a panic. I’ve met some big celebrities in my life and none that have stopped me in my tracks. Today - I met someone I could never have dreamed of. @beautaplin has helped me (and I’m certain many others) with the beauty of his words. His uncanny ability to know what I’m thinking, to resonate with my heart, and to speak my inner feelings in a language at time I feel no one else understands. My reaction is a testament to the emotion he unveils in my soul. A talent and a fellow gin, tonic & fresh orange drinker. Thank you for your time Beau. Keep speaking your truth.
