It never gets easier! Things I’ve said about dancing the opening of A Chorus Line and saying goodbye to it. I feel so fortunate to have done A Chorus Line 5 times now (in middle school, high school, the beginning of my career at 18 years old, and this summer at Barrington and Geva). The show never gets easier to do. In fact, it’s much harder now than it was at 18 or 14 or 13…. And it never gets easier to leave. There is something special about putting yourself out on the line and dancing for your life with your peers. I’m honored to have been surrounded by such titans of talent since June. I’m going to miss watching this entire cast give it their all every day. “The gift was ours to borrow.” Swipe to see how it started… I’m gonna miss doing this number with the incomparable @haleybjorn The Line! And just like that, it’s over. This one really hurts. This cast and this contract have truly changed my life. I’ve learned so much about myself and I’ve built a lot of confidence along the way. I love playing Bobby and getting to be my authentic kooky, gay, weird self. Having audiences applaud those characteristics and be celebrated for them has been eye opening. As a dancer I don’t always get the chance to say much but Bobby has alot to say and I’ve loved “finding out I can talk too”. I love every single person I had the honor of sharing that stage with and in my delusion I’m waiting for the email saying we’re doing it again somewhere new! I could do this show with these beautiful people forever. Till next time A Chorus Line 🎩 ✨
