Introducing the co-facilitators of Negotiating Bodies!

Jess Ingram (on the left) and Divya Kishore (on the right).

Divya is a second year BA curating student. Jess is a recent BA curating graduate.

They both are fascinated in exploring the ways in which bodies negotiate each other in a socio-political setting. Along with reflecting on our various contact points with disability, both in our own lives and the lives of others.

Last week we had the pleasure of working with @aparticularreality to deliver a workshop on redefining the Able-body for the Bow Arts: Art Teacher Conference 2025 @bowarts

The group was absolutely amazing to work with and we hope they enjoyed it as much as we did! Some excellent points were made about ability and language in a school environment. For instance, the use of the phrase "disabled", "differently-abled" and "able-bodied" left some feeling dissatisfied, and instead opted for "adjustable body".

It's always an eye-opening experience to work with teachers/ educators with a background in pedagogy. Everybody brings their own unique practices.

More snapshots of the beginning moments of our exhibition "Edén Transcends into Reality" in @pushkinhouselondon last July.

On the first photo we find @jess_ingram0 one of our curators, interacting with @cometmagician_ 's amazing immersive VR world. On the second we have @nellapiatek 's installation and movie about cybercovens and witches.

Amazing previous moments of excitement ! 🥀🌹
