You’re allowed to be happier than you’ve ever been 🍓

Can’t believe that it’s already a month and some change since coffē house season FIVE!! Five whole seasons under the belt and so many evolutions later I am still extremely blessed and grateful for the opportunity to share the love of dance with an amazing and kind cast again. Taking time to process this season and past renditions I’m so lucky to have the support to be able to successfully sustain my ambitious artistic pursuits.

Sooooo grateful for this seasons cast, thank you for letting me be apart of your growth journey I’m so so soooo proud of each of you and the commitment you have towards your own personal highest goods.

This season was an emotional one, exploring discomfort by confronting themes of growth while they each were guided through overcoming those challenges, a lot of the times mentally. Eventually breaking though those barriers and truly allowing the process to take place. It is a privilege that I do not take lightly to be able to hold this safe space for you all. I’ll continue to do the work to show up in a way that nurtures that lvl of vulnerability and openness

Thank you to the guest Artist Imani waters for gracing us with her talent again, always leaves me speechless.

Thank you again for everyone who bought a ticket, shared the flyer, or gave words of encouragement along the way. Though it may seem arbitrary the combination of these supports is what truly keeps a community going and art alive.

Thank you to the mentors Mia Johnson, Hunter, Lydia Jones for your personal excellence and showing up for these mentees in so many ways. I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.

Thank you for selling out another season. Cheers to the next!🍾🍾😁🎉🎉

Gratitude towards my team along the way ⬇️

i just knew a few weeks back this was gonna be our closer. it just feels so full circle in our season of growing and blooming. i also warned all my dance mates i was gonna cry during this song a week in advance because dancing this song with everyone means so much to me and i was
RIGHT!!!!! YAP!!!!!! this has been one of the most fulfilling and joyful experiences i’ve ever had the pleasure of being a part of. i cannot believe we poured 8 weeks of work into such amazing performances, i think seeing us like this is a testament to what it looks like to pour faith into yourself and into the others around you. usually when i don’t get something right away, i quit or stop trying because it feels discouraging and like im not good enough. i think this is one of the first times i gave myself more grace, and it was beautiful to see what came of that. dancing really feeds my soul and i’ve always loved the freedom it’s provided me with to express the most vulnerable parts of myself. words can’t express how much this time has meant to me, and how needed it was. all i’ve ever wanted to do is just dance, and i can finally do that. i can’t wait to see what my precious, sweet, talented, and so insanely inspiring group does🩷🩷
