POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

My client @jessdoeswell said this on her stories, and I had to share 🤍

“The more you go, the more you trust that you’ll do what you said you’re going to do, and build that confidence.”

She nailed it.

Somewhere around our late twenties, life gets fuller. Careers, relationships, kids, ageing parents. Time and freedom shift, and fitness doesn’t happen by accident anymore. It has to be intentional.

So the people you see who are consistently fit at this stage of life? They keep showing up.

They go when they’re tired. They go when the mood isn’t there. They go when life is busy. Not always the perfect session, but they show up in some form. They’re intentional with how they eat. They plan ahead.

Because it’s not “I have to” anymore. It’s just who they are, alongside everything else.

What Jess described has a name: self-efficacy. Every time you follow through on what you said you’d do, you build trust with yourself. And research on habits shows it’s not willpower that makes something automatic. It’s consistent repetition, until it becomes part of your routine.

So keep scheduling your workouts. Keep following through. Keep planning your meals. Make it automatic. Make it who you are.

Jess is living proof. A busy life, insane progress, and consistency built one kept promise at a time. So proud of you 👏
