Throwback to a time (not so long ago) we all finished our hot yoga teacher training! As I prepare to switch gears into nursing school mode, I’m grateful to have been given the time and opportunity to have participated in this training this summer. Thank you @nikkihaasyoga for teaching us all you possibly could in our short time together. So much love 💕

CELEBRATE 🤍🤍🤍

After 100+ hours spent in a Hot room, these beautiful beings graduated from my Hot Yoga Teacher Training. I am beyond proud of every single one of them. To be a witness to the transformation that comes with this practice was humbling and left me feeling so grateful to be on this path. Words are hard to come by the past few days. So I’ll keep it simple.

We are safe.
We are strong.
We are confident.
We love whole heartedly.
We speak our truth.
We see our path.
We are one.

WE ARE BLESSED✨

Always exciting to experience something new or in a different light. Went to the Adirondacks this past weekend. All my time there has been in the summer so far pardon riding white face for a few days. I think it is import to keep things fresh. Challenging what you know or what you can do is necessary to grow and learn. More times than not we stick to our convictions rather than explore new possibilities. Our packs were heavier than ever before, packed with winter gear. Dealing with the “cold” for a few days, avoiding mud holes that swallow boots whole and moving up sections of steep hard snow and ice. All added to the excitement. Trail finding skills were tested as snow covered the unmarked trail going up the Brooke. It isn’t necessarily more difficult but, each step in the cold is a little slower and little more thought out and requires a little more patience. At the End of it all you just tell your self it’s wasn’t too bad and keep moving one foot in front of the other..... for 30 or so miles

These messages are things I am thankful for. I am self admittedly hyper obsessed. I have been told I was overbearing and a control freak, a very demanding boss that was never satisfied. I am a work in progress & never said I was perfect. I have had a year to reflect on a lot of that, restaurants are THE hardest business. I only was concerned about the customer, that plate of food, our last service . If I was tough? Well that’s the way I was brought up in the kitchen. It usually takes a couple of years for my young cooks to reach back out to me and yes they say I was a dick but in the same breath they say they wouldn’t trade it for the world. The strong work ethics I instilled in them has made them teachers, executive chefs, business owners and so on. I am a softer, kinder version of myself now but I will be old school forever. I thank everyone from the past 20 years that helped me maintain high standards and excellence, without your hard work I am nothing.

What a blast its been showing some dirtbags the local craig, for the past two weekends. We’ve been taking full advantage of mild winter temps. We Got to climb 3 yosemite classics, Erica got her first feel leading and we scored a free campsite below half-dome.. all the excitement made us forget we have work tomorrow well at least I do.. #nutcracker #yosemite #grack #munginella #climbing #yosemiteclassics #totem #lasportiva #vantrip

Snack time with a view, and strong 💪🏽 crew. At this point they have no idea, that I’ve pack in some 7oz @corona in 2 @outdoorresearch water bottle parka’s with ice. I️ also have some fresh baked goods from the one and only @jfwctt3 (my beautiful wife), who rarely lets me go into the mountains without treats, but they’re always a surprise 😋 . This is how #hiketeam8ate rolls👊🏽😎 (Mt. colden 7-21-18)

When your hiking with a crew, it’s hard to get a picture with everyone in it.. (they were like kids in a candy store, myself included) this was our 🦄 moment (Mt. colden, 7-21-18)
