1999 my first ever trip to Maui at 16 y.o unforgettable memories, my first local sail and board sponsor upon arrival after a few months was Dave Ezzy, worked at his loft cleaning and tought me the basics how to repair sails togeher with Jesse Brown, learned to Love Country music with Jessie was so hilarious! they where amazing to me and inspired me a lot! Dave Ezzy also hooked me up with Dave Mell from Sailboards Maui, making me my first ever custom board, Dave and is family where also amazing to me! all a Dream come true…

Fun huaka’i to Tofino, coaching @memphis_surf and @baylee_koko_brown in their Canadian ISA qualifier! It was my first time to the area and I was blown away by how beautiful it was, but geez…. It was frickin cold! 😂 Baylee ended up with a semi final finish and Memphis took second overall in the U16, and qualified for the ISA team. Mahalo for choosing and trusting me to be your coach! 🫡
