Happy National Sons day to my 3 huge boy-men!! (One day early, I believe - but I’m thinking of it now. 🤣). Different as night and day - and three of the coolest cats I know. Three of my greatest gifts and deepest joys. 💕Man, it’s fun (and a little sad) watching you guys grow into men. You kids have given me the greatest years of my life. 🤗 What a gift. ❤️

Bangor Christian’s Jesse Booker (Class of 2026) has committed to continue his academic and track & field career at the University of Maine.

A multi-time PVC Small School Champion and the 2026 Class C State Champion in the 300m hurdles, Booker anchored the Patriots and led the program to its first-ever boys track and field state title. He brings elite hurdling technique and multi-event versatility to Orono, where he’ll suit up for the Black Bears ⚡🐻

His top personal records include:
• 300m Hurdles — 40.39
• 110m Hurdles — 15.46 • Javelin — 148-8 • 400m — 57.65

Six canoes. Two families. Five days. Completely off grid with about 70 miles of Allagash Waterway to conquer as a team. 10/10 highly recommend. “Developing godly families one adventure at a time” is the theme of Thrive - the ministry our friends help to run, and man this is the coolest way to do it. Shared adventure, shared “struggle,” shared quality, uninterrupted time as families is such incredible GLUE. Here’s the tiniest highlight of our past five days. Thank you, dear friends, for the incredible adventure. And thank you kiddos for going along with your parents’ crazy whims. ❤️
