Buff the party with the best level 1 spell? Naaaaah

Debuff the party? Absolutely. Yes please.

Flavian really said “close enough.” 🫠 Or the foundry VTT interface chose to f%@k it up. who can say?

In our latest Dungeons and Dragons actual play episode, our "human" (Tiefling) cleric hit the wrong button by accident and hilarity and hijinks ensue. Incidentally, hilarity and hijinks would be a great band name. Anyways make sure to read your spells players. This has been your Friendly DM tip.

Ho-ar bless him, it is really hard to learn a new system though guys. If you can relate and ever flubbed a crucial moment in a tabletop roleplaying game, or when you were first learning Foundry VTT pr Roll20 make sure to drop a like or a comment. And make sure to catch full episodes on our channel "The good the bad and the goblin"

When the DM needs to pick a target, there’s only one reliable method: science. And by science, we mean “eeny, meeny, miny, moe.”

Poor Flavian never stood a chance. 🏹🎲#dnd

When the Dungeon master gives a random goblin a whole corporate career arc 😭

Bro doesn’t want to be a monster…
he wants middle management, benefits, and a chance to become big boss. They're just funny lil guys!

Goblins are just tiny office workers with knives.

Yemek just wanted to be big boss, but the real dream was apparently benefits, a few years in the middle, and maybe surviving long enough to get taken out by an adventurer. 😭 That's Assistant TO the Goblin manager thank you very much!

In my experience with Dungeons and Dragons, goblins are both dangerous and hilarious, and great vehicles for character work. And they can really draw out some great roleplay from your DND players if you commit to the bit. So its not a stretch for a random goblin to be way too funny, way too specific, or way too relatable. You already know why this is peak D&D chaos: goblin politics + middle management = HILARITY

If your D&D campaign, TTRPG group, or tabletop RPG has ever turned a random enemy into the funniest character at the table, this one’s for you.
