It’s Party Season Press Night! This play has been a big one for us, years in the making, with many wonderful collaborators. I am so grateful to still be making large ensemble devised theatre, which is no mean feat in our current theatrical climate. And for a show all about the destabilising journey into parenthood- it felt fitting that my son turned 2 during tech week. The push and pull of it all is real, and I just feel very thankful that I get to make work with a company who I have had the privilege of journeying through life with. Sometimes in life you get to be a part of something truly magical. 🐾 What an absolute joy beyond joys it has been to work with @thewardrobeensemble and @royalderngate this Christmas on this special show. I feel like I’ve waited my whole life to play a cat as wonderful as Mog. The cast, the team, the show, the theatre have all been outstanding. Time to go and rest these knees. 🐾 💜

Today marked the 128th — and final — performance of our original Mog the Forgetful Cat. What a send-off! We’ve had the most wonderful week at @southbankcentre. Huge thanks to all the technicians, staff, and volunteers — your skill, warmth, and generosity have been overwhelming. To our new and returning cast members: sharing that stage with you has been nothing short of a joy. And to our amazing audiences — all 7,398 of you who meowed, dressed up, and joined in — you’re absolute legends. Mog will be getting festive in Northampton this Christmas (more on that very soon!), but for now we just wanted to take a moment to celebrate this one. It’s been so special. Bother that cat, indeed.

It is finally happening! We are launching THE LOST-O-PUS!!! You can catch it on our YouTube channel (@CardboardAdventuresUK) for FREE NOW!!!! It is two years of hard work by some of the most talented people (and lovely humans!) I’ve ever had the good fortune to know and I cannot WAIT for you all to see it! Its the first “episode” in what we hope will be a fully fledged digital theatre series, its full of cardboard puppets and practical effects and movie references and craft activities and wonderful acting and GLORIOUS music and FILMED IN A REAL LIFE THEATRE (Thank you The Egg!)
