Thousands of dollars in FREE skate gear, $1,200 in best trick prizes, and a whole lot of smiles! 🛹🔥

The 5th Annual Cotton Jam was all about giving back to the skateboarding community, and one of the best parts was seeing so many kids and skaters go home with something new!

Thanks to @pushskateboardingforacause, we raffled off thousands of dollars worth of FREE skateboards, decks, shoes, and other skate merchandise, including generous donations from @skatewarehouse, @dklskateboarding, and @mickypapa. Seeing the excitement from everyone who won made it all worthwhile!

The competition brought the heat, too! 🔥
🏆 Paul took home $200 and a custom Cotton Jam deck for the Honorary Technical Trick Award.

🏆 Jairis defended his title as Cotton Jam Best Trick Champion, taking home $1,000, the coveted Cotton Jam trophy, a custom deck, and some Dome Dust!

Special thanks to Dome Dust, the official hydration station for the 5th Annual Cotton Jam, and for providing free Dome Dust to the community

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, supported, competed, volunteered, or simply came out to enjoy the day. Cotton Jam has always been about more than skateboarding. It's about bringing people together, supporting the next generation, and giving back to the community that makes it all possible.

Corcoran, thank you for another unforgettable Cotton Jam! ❤️🛹

Swipe through to see some of the winners and the smiles that made this year's event special!

Jesse Paez came up in an era when your local skate shop was one of the places you discovered everything skateboarding — videos, new spots, other skaters, local contests and connections that could open doors.

That ecosystem still matters today.

When independent skate shops disappear, skateboarding loses one of the places that helps the next generation find its way in.

Brick & Mortar Foundation is working to keep those shops open and that opportunity alive.
