One week post-marathon and the FOMO is actually insane 😭 So naturally, I’m chasing my friends around downtown Kansas City for active recovery. Getting to watch everyone hit PRs and see some of the boos take on their first big runs made it so fun to still be part of the magic, even from the sidelines. I’ll take my five seconds of shine so I can scream, jump, and offer y’all fuel over being in the bed anyday!

No music. 3 hours of sleep. Pure grit. 😤

My first time ever placing at a race, let alone a 10k crossed the finish line with a Top 3 age group finish!

Joining this run group back in April has been the best decision. You all make the hard miles so much better. Huge shoutout to the community and friends who showed up, ran and cheered everyone on today! 🧡

One more 10k left in the series before it’s time for the 📍 KC Garmin Half Marathon.

Had to come down and see if the vibe was right. It was a blessing being around people who didn’t mind taking up space and the amount of black magic there was unmatched a real masterclass on how to host and organize a party. I took notes there’s always more to learn.

I started this QUICK guy in July and finished it up last night while watching Stranger Things V.2. 🤦🏻‍♀️
Sometimes it takes being at your parents house and having three episodes of a tv to watch on Christmas night.

You might ask your landlocked Midwestern self why would a sign like this exist? Well, from first hand experience I can tell you.
My friend @jessicalangley and I were on the way to dinner in Fountainstown, Ireland. I very confidently told her she should take a right instead of a left at a split. If she had listened to me we would have ended up in the Atlantic.

And then when I came to my residency at @westcoveestate I was delighted to see this sign at the end of the pier. I immediately sent Jess a message and said I’m so sorry for about the 22nd time.

*this happened when it was pitch black out.

My last MEDAL MONDAY of 2025: Candy Cane Course 12K! This is my longest and coldest run ever but earning 3rd place in my age group was the real shocker
