POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Drawing from medieval architecture and sculpture, this collection explores the relationship between romanticism, structure, and delicate detailing. Floral elements inspired by the thorned roses of fairytales connect three distinct looks. A two-piece silk satin bridal dress combines an exaggerated hip silhouette, armor-inspired seamlines, floral lace, feathers, and embroidered rose appliqué. The remaining looks feature bias-cut satin and silk chiffon, raw diagonal seams, dyed Chantilly lace, and a central rosette. Inspired by a Spring 1993 John Galliano piece, the collection balances sculptural forms with softness and intricate craftsmanship.

As I close this chapter of 4 years with my Senior Thesis "INTERNAL" I want to take a moment to express my feelings because so much happened.

I originally had a completely different idea for my thesis, but I decided that I wanted my final project to be something more personal. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to create a project about my mental health, especially my experiences with anxiety and depression, since these are very sensitive topics not just for me, but for a lot of people. I also wasn’t fully confident in this project. There were many moments when I doubted myself and even considered scrapping the entire thing. At times, the whole thing felt emotionally overwhelming, and I had to step away and take a break.

In the end, Internal became the project I am most proud of. It gave me the opportunity to express what goes on in my mind through photography and to turn my emotions into something meaningful.

I want to thank @jeessicanevees cuz she experienced this whole process with me and for understanding how difficult this journey was for me. As well, I want to thank all my friends who have been there for me and seen me at my worst. To my family, that even far away, they are always there to support me in any way they can. And to my professors who helped me bring this idea to life and guided me.

This project marks the end of my college journey and the beginning of a new chapter.

An iconic NYC backdrop. Where the city is the witness and nature is the backdrop. We had such a lovely time putting this very special engagement together for @byjesusvega and @lindsaytabma. Thank you for letting us take part in such a special magical day. 💕 #nycflorist #nycengagement #weddingdesign #nycphotography #centralpark Photography by: @jessicanevesft
