JESSICA RABBIT 💋❤️💜🩷

“I’m not bad. I’m just drawn that way”

With talks of a live action #JessicaRabbit movie in the works, I had to create a new illustration of my all time favourite animated character since childhood & IMO, the most beautifully designed. You can see a lot of her influence in my illustration & design style.

With her sultry design being highly criticised & watered down at times over the years (wrongfully so) I personally feel she should ALWAYS stay true to her original stylised look, without interference from ignorant & backward thinking individuals. She is the ultimate #FemmeFatale & should stay that way! ❤️

My very first trip to New York City was in 1997 with @wmcjr. We stayed inside the world’s tiniest room at The Plaza, met @whoopigoldberg backstage at the St. James Theatre, waited hours for both @nbcsnl and Regis and Kathie Lee, only to come up empty handed. But, what I never forgot was stepping into The Disney Store on Fifth Avenue and discovering the “Jessica’s Debut” cel, limited edition of 500, staring back at me. It has been a dream ever since to own one. And earlier this year, @ebay made that dream a reality. She doesn’t exactly go with my 2025 design ethos, so currently lives atop the closet. But someday she’ll hang proudly alongside all my other collections. Jessica Rabbit is my all time favorite cartoon character. And as a kid, this moment of the movie was rewound and played so many times that the video cassette broke! @jessicarabbitworld

I never saw this t-shirt before using my artwork for the Jessica sign! Wow, Disney really got a lot of mileage from my drawing!
I’m excited because the art director at the time just cleaned out his closet and sent me five cool Jessica items I worked on that I haven’t seen in 30 years! I can’t wait to share in the weeks ahead.
