💙September💙

You contained a lot. 4 years sober. Sunflowers from my angel baby boyfriend to celebrate. This month held the most reflection I’ve had to face in a long time. This time last year I was less than 2 weeks from moving states and experiencing an incredible adventure, I was so busy, so social and so excited. Thinking back through the last 4 year of sobriety and the millions of lives it feels as if I’ve lived it’s hard to feel content with where I’m at today. Working to find understanding and patience and most of all acceptance for how life ebbs and flows.

In the sea of feeling stagnant and meaningless I was reminded of the power I hold to do good and the change I’m able to make in the world and that helped >

Taking @gaygoblingroup back to Monty market, along side people I love, in memory of someone I love so deeply. It reminds me to balance grief and love. Pain and gratitude. Building this organisation/business into something bigger is really exciting

Boyfriend took me on a date to the fire house restaurant and we had some absolutely delicious food and such a beautiful time. I’m so in love with him

@harchaya_ birthday dinner!!! Celebrating them turning 25 with some of our favourite people was very special. Meaningful to think back on the almost 5 years of connection we’ve shared

Impromptu adventure to diamond creek fair to see fireworks and friends <3

All you can eat BBQ, was delicious and so nice to meet one of boyfriends friends :)

Continuing to appreciate the purpose the Cattery gives me and how special it is to meet so many beautiful babies. Kenny won’t let me bring this girl home and I’m so sad

Piccolina hate to see us coming every time they release new specials

@jessiefortuin quickly and immediately becoming a new favourite artist after seeing her live supporting Ash in Melbourne!!

I saw @azuremusicau live on the I don’t wanna die anymore tour back in 2023 and have been waiting patiently for her to come back, she put on the most incredible show with the most insane support acts and coolest fans. An unforgettable night. I had so much fun.

A moment for the fit

Crafts and business discussions have taken over a lot of this mon

Been so busy working, I ain't been posting!!!

So, its time to catch up on a bunch of releases I had the privilege of working.

LINEUP UPDATE: unfortunately @wormgirlz are unable to make Springtime Soiree due to illness among multiple band members. We wish the best of luck to the band and hope they get well soon. Be sure to catch them this November on tour. Thankfully, we have local alt-pop star @jessiefortuin jumping on board as replacement! Many thanks and immense gratitude to her for agreeing to perform on short notice. We’re super stoked to invite her to celebrate the spring season with us!

💽💽💽💽💽💽💽💽💽💽💽💽💽💽💽💽💽

Māori/Australian pop princess Jessica Fortuin engraves her catchy hooks and crunchy, dreamlike soundscapes into your psyche leaving you humming along from the very first listen. Storytelling of queer culture, self destruction, and the indulgent hunger of young lust;

Set to a sound inspired by y2k club bangers meets emo pop rock, delivered alongside a cyber + edgy visual world with colourful influences from Harajuku street fashion and alternative internet subcultures.

The latest release {Creepy-Not-Cute}, is an ode to intense love. A somewhat off-putting type of love that if not reciprocated would be considered creepy, not cute.

What started as isolation and diary entries in her teenage years, turned into world building through songwriting, storytelling and performing. Sydney based singer/songwriter Jessica Fortuin has used every obstacle in her life as an excuse to create. “I wanted to make something fun out of things that really weren’t”. Now performing all across the country, Jessica Fortuin is one to watch.

✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

Catch her this Saturday alongside @imbellaamor @hotpursuit.band @gaillamusic and @casualaffair.band from 5:30pm at Springtime Soiree @waywardsballroom
