Am Freitag in Malters:

JESSIQUOI
Freitag 25. September 2026, 20.30 Uhr
Kulturschiene Malters, Gleis 5, Malters

Still glowing from this one. ⚡️
Thanks, @krautkunstfestival , for the opportunity to showcase my experimental neon sculpture. Light, energy, and a little bit of electricity. ✨

My first Erhu feature! 😍💖

This is “Pathmaker” by the incredibly talented @eonawa22 from his beautiful new EP “Drama.” It’s a touching love song inspired by the story of a werewolf. 🐺❤️

If you haven’t heard his music yet, I highly recommend checking it out. His voice is absolutely stunning and if you ever get the chance to see him live, don’t miss it. ❤️

A little story behind this recording… 🥹

Just before leaving for Vietnam, I had the opportunity to record Erhu for the very first time. Everything happened incredibly fast and I had to learn both the part and how to record this beautiful instrument in a very short amount of time.

The Erhu was kindly lent to me by @jessiquoi_ and I’m incredibly grateful to Eon Awa for trusting me to record on one of his songs. Thank you both for making this possible. 🙏❤️

I’m still only at the beginning of my Erhu journey but this experience made me fall even more in love with the instrument. I can’t wait to get my own Erhu one day and continue learning. 🎻✨

KRAUT KUNSTFESTIVAL 2026
22. Juli — 6. August 2026
Luzern

What does the future sound like when it has already begun?

Jessiquoi creates musical worlds that refuse easy categorisation. Club-oriented electronics collide with rap, resonant vocals and cinematic soundscapes. Together with classical cellist Cégiu, she develops live performances where electronic precision and acoustic instruments merge into a single living organism.

Her concerts feel like fragments of a future that is both familiar and unknown. Inspired by science fiction, video games and nocturnal urban landscapes, she builds immersive audiovisual environments where reality and fiction, inner worlds and external spaces, humans and machines constantly overlap. Rather than predicting the future, her work reflects on the present from a point somewhere fifty years ahead.

KRAUT KUNSTFESTIVAL 2026
22. Juli — 6. August 2026
Luzern
