“Read something light,” they said. “It’s just contemporary romance,” they said…

Who decided contemporary romance couldn't deliver the kind of intense yearning, possessive alphas, morally gray men and emotional damage that leaves you staring at the ceiling at 2 AM? Because these five books understood the assignment.

📚 THE BINGE LINEUP:

🩺 There's Something Wrong with Jordie Mitchell by Sadie Cruz — Medical romance, raw vulnerability and enough emotional tension to make your heart ache.

🎰 Morally Black Elopement by Nicole French — A responsible heroine, a billionaire playboy and a Vegas accident that makes everything deliciously complicated.

👑 Never Until You by Eva Hollander — High-society secrets, a class divide and the kind of deep yearning that makes you want to scream at the pages.

🖤 Unaware by Jess McFarlane — A sunshine FMC and a quiet, protective MMC that will make you smile at 2AM.

💼 The Takeover by T.L. Swan — A relentless billionaire alpha meets a fiery heroine who turns his carefully controlled world upside down.

💬 Tell me: which MMC is your weakness?

Review Time ✨

This weeks review is of UNAware by @jessmcfarlaneauthor

Overall Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Characters: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Story Progression: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Plot: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have never read a book that made me laugh and cry all at the same time. What an emotional rollercoaster (In a good way) 😆

I had so much fun reading this book, the main character Sybbie is one of my all time favorite new characters in a book. She is so relatable, and had me rolling from laughter. The quick quips and nervous rambling were the cherry on top to the already amazing story, add to it the grumpy love interest who is a giant marshmallow and I'm done for. 😂

The story progress was good, the pace was steady and overall felt right. The plot was built well, I never felt confused or that things were left out. It had me laughing, sitting on the edge of my seat, and occasionally crying (because why is this grumpy man so freaking sweet 😭) 💛

Highly recommend to lovers of shifter romances with Grumpy Sunshine vibes and people who love to laugh (and cry). 100000/10 💛💛 will be diving into this story again.

AVAILABLE NOW!!

BLURB:
Sybbie Palmer has always put one thing first: her younger sister, Maeve. Being eleven years older, and the adopted daughter of the alpha of Luminaire, Sybbie has spent years looking after her sister since their parents’ deaths.
So when the alpha of the Primrose pack, Layton Warner, proposes a bonding to form an alliance with Luminaire, she’s quick to step forward so Maeve doesn’t have to. Being bonded to the Primrose alpha to gain favour in a territory war wasn’t on Sybbie’s bingo card, but she’s determined to do this for her pack.
However, the bodyguard sent to pick her up, Briggs, is gruff, mostly silent and could use an attitude adjustment. Sybbie isn’t sure she’s capable surviving more than two weeks in a car with this Were, as she’s the complete opposite of what Briggs usually tolerates: talkative, annoying, and asking for a dollar every time he swears.
But Briggs is good at his job: training her, protecting her from Karvers and teaching her how to be a proper Were. And when she begins to notice their strange connection, she’s suddenly forced to consider that she may have made the wrong decision.
