Somewhere between the first wedding and the last load of glassware, summer absolutely flew by.

We set tables for intimate dinners and 150 person celebrations. We styled weddings, packed up for our first city event, took on our first full weekend of on site styling, bought more inventory than we’d like to admit, and washed, rewashed, and sanitized while listening to a lot of audiobooks.

There were broken glasses, last-minute pivots, very full cars, very late nights, and a whole lot of “wait…we actually get to do this?”

Our first real summer of On Brookside was bigger, busier, and more fun than we could have imagined.

And somehow, we’re just getting started.

You know a party was good when you’re still dreaming about it two years later. Our colorful welcome party at @villa_dianella kicked off our wedding weekend, and @elisa.italianweddingaffair made it feel like us in every thoughtful detail.

A summer night under the stars ✨

The Mather Dinner was one of those evenings that reminds us why we love what we do. Set against the beautiful backdrop of The Mather Homestead, guests gathered to celebrate the start of summer with an evening of community, conversation, and connection.

We were honored to set the table for such a special event.

Guests enjoyed a beautiful dinner by @greersoutherntable and floral by the talented @stemsandco while surrounded by friends, neighbors, and supporters of @matherhomestead.

And as always, @je_suis_andrea captured the evening perfectly. These photos tell the story far better than we ever could.
