It feels crazy to me that I am writing this right now. But the time has come for me to go home.
The introverted scared girl who landed in Colorado one year ago would be so surprised to see herself as the person she is now. That girl would be so proud to finally see a big smile on her face.
She would look at this confident new person and not believe her eyes. This year showed me how it is to grow up and face challenges, not gonna lie quite a few tears were involved in the process. But I made it.
And now I find myself here talking about this as past and not as present anymore. Making an impact on someone's life was my biggest goal and wish, I don't know if I did it, but I sure know many people made a significant impact on my own life, and I thank everyone for that.
I will cherish every moment spent at Vista Ridge, it's not something I am able to explain, but there will always be a piece of my heart left in this country.
Last but not least, it does not feel very modest to say, but please don'f forget me right away. I still have a lot to show you all about my home. And I will be back here someday, that is a promise.
