Rhythm & Truth had the honor of partnering with @avivasocal and Creative Wellbeing to help queer youth celebrate Pride month! Our staff had the pleasure to DJ at their fabulous drag show and offered arts and crafts to celebrate the community! This event was youth-led and a wonderful celebration of the unity and support Aviva offers. 🌈🎶🎼🎤

Today we are highlighting one of the incredible communities that Rhythm & Truth is honored to serve. At JHA, we provide Music Therapy at a community center for primarily Spanish-speaking older adults, addressing goal areas such as increasing sense of community, joy, cognition and memory, and movement.

This highlight featuring MT-BC @jaredweinstock and MTI @jesstclinton offers a small glimpse into the meaningful moments that music can help create. We are continually inspired by the individuals we work with and grateful for the opportunity to harness the power of song in bringing people together.

Today we are highlighting our Music Therapy intern, Jess Clinton! Jess is currently on her way to completing a 1040 hour internship before sitting for the board certification exam. She has been bringing so much unique insight, dedication, and creativity to her clients and the team already, and we are so grateful to be a part of her journey towards becoming an MT-BC!

Blank-slate venues are a dream if you want creative freedom but they also mean planning from a raw canvas.

No tables or linens. No chairs or tableware. No lighting or décor. Just an open space waiting for you (and your vendor team) to build something incredible from the ground up!

That means every design detail, from the ceremony seating and reception layout to the florals and lighting needs to be brought in intentionally. And even more than design, the functionality of all the added pieces must work together perfectly! Do we need trash accommodations, do we need added restrooms, or do we need to consider a generator or parking arrangements? All questions I’m asking at a venue like this!

It’s not always glamorous, but a blank canvas can become a masterpiece when you have a planner who knows how to design it and ask the right questions ✨

Still thinking about these two radiant brides and how much love surrounded them on their wedding day 🤍 The kind of couple that reminds you exactly why you do what you do.

They were the sweetest, most genuine souls and so deserving of a wedding that felt effortlessly, perfectly them. Every smile, every happy tear, every moment was filled with so much heart.

An unforgettable day for an unforgettable love story.

Friends with Jessica’s parents @georgesclinton and Charlotte for decades. It was so beautiful seeing their love! And the y’all they walked down the aisle to #pinkponyclub violin version! Please wish this beautiful couple a beautiful life together as we celebrate love! #lovewins❤️💛💚💙💜
