Cal was beyond incredible this weekend for both of our first times at New England Finals! Although we didn’t have our best rounds by any means, I am so proud of how much we grew throughout the weekend and we finished with a confident round on Sunday to earn 8th in the Challenge Cup. We walked away having learned so much and knowing what we need to work on moving forward.
I truly don’t have enough good things to say about this horse. No matter how I’m feeling, I always have a steady, reliable partner by my side. Every time he walks into the ring, you can tell how much fun he’s having, and no matter what silly mistakes I make, he takes it all in stride and never holds it against me. I owe this horse everything, and I can’t even begin to thank him for the confidence, support, and joy he brings me. Cal, thank you for everything. You truly are a one-in-a-million horse. ❤️
As always, thank you to my parents and @_hollyhillfarm_ for believing in me, helping me achieve my goals, and taking such incredible care of both me and Cal. I’m so grateful for all of you!
