— it’s been a whole week since death becomes her took it’s final bow and i’m genuinely so so sad about it 💜

the show that finally got me to broadway because i was not going to miss jennifer simard and megan hilty leading such a girl power musical. i did it. and then i flew back to new york city from london another three times since last august. i’ve seen so many cast combinations and have had some of my most favourite live theatre experiences because of this show.

the friends, the validation, the reignition for a love of performing, the visibility; there is so much to be grateful for. i don’t want to get too soppy, but i have loved musicals since i was small, and the only other musicals i have had such a deep special connection with are mary poppins and the sound of music. death becomes her has earned a special place in my heart as a girl in her late twenties in the same way that mary poppins and tsom did when i was six.

thank you @deathbecomesher for being my happy place. thank you @bwolfepack and @thejennifersimard and that gorgeously talented cast for bringing the joy and giving us the magic of live theatre. most importantly, thank you to all the wonderful WONDERFUL friends i have made because of this silly beautiful show about the spooky magic drink.

siempre viva; i’m so fucking glad we did this x

A weekend better than any dream 💜✨

I had the most amazing time in NYC with the most gorgeous group of people, all brought together for our shared love of all things Simard. This weekend has been the escape from reality I never knew I needed and how lucky am I to now have friends across the world. A little piece of my heart is with you all and the rest is at the Lunt Fontane.

* I still don’t have the words to describe how grateful I am to have not only seen Simard shine on stage but also to have met her, I once wished this all on an 11:11 ✨

* The Lunt fontane… I’ll be back x

* Theatre kid dreams of dinner at Sardi’s

* I swear she looked into my soul and I’ve not seen it since.

* White plains didn’t know what hit it 🔥

* When Simards says see you tomorrow, you follow the orders and end the trip with one final DBH.

* Liv doing the lords work, as always x

Jennchella Weekend may be over, but my heart is so full. ♥️ There is something so special about being able to congregate with fellow fans and new friends to celebrate your mutual favorite performer. I will treasure the memories, the laughter, and the company kept forever. Mother @thejennifersimard , thank you a million times over for sharing your talent and your time with us. I hope you felt so much love this weekend, and know that you continue to inspire some really cool and compassionate women.

Cheers, I’m so glad we did this! 🥂

There are no words to describe how full my heart feels 💖 The power of @thejennifersimard !!! As someone raised Catholic, church was not only a place for worship or devotion, it was a place to find community. I may have drifted from that childhood definition, but I have found myself once again a devotee. (My brain is still recovering so forgive the blasphemous metaphor). The art, talent, graciousness, wisdom, and resilience of Jennifer Simard has brought the most wonderful community of women into my life. From all around the world (we had 4 continents represented in the house!!!) and we have all overcome the barriers of distance to bond and rely on each other. The talent, creativity, and heart of these women mirrors that of the person we all admire because she possesses all those qualities.

Thank you thank thank you ALL! It was an honor to be your tourist guide, most importantly an honor to be your friend. My other international friends, you were there with us in spirit (and maybe a couple over facetime). I love you all! 💖🫂

And that's a wrap on Norway 2025. What an unbelievable trip with great friends, adventures, and more. Had a day at Sea and the always hilarious Crazy Quest. Even got to have a backstage tour of the Royal Theatre. The next adventure is just around the corner, and can't wait to share more soon.

‼️ Fun Fact: The second I care for your dog, they’re part of my heart. It doesn’t matter if it’s once, twice, or year round; Your baby is my baby.

❤️ My sweet friend Lana had a pretty serious surgery and has been in recovery & going through rehab for a few months.

I’ve missed my spunky, sassy Lana beyond words. I’m SOOOO excited to spend the weekend with her!!! She literally cried when we pulled into my driveway and practically pulled me up the stairs to get to my door. This sweet girl was beyond happy to be reunited with her pack 🥰

✨ We’re looking forward to the days ahead! ✨
