Last night, the final episode of @married_at_first_sight_il aired.

As this chapter comes to an end, I find myself thinking about the people you don’t see on screen. Behind every minute of television are so many people working incredibly long hours, under enormous pressure, with care, creativity and commitment.

So this post is for them.

First, @lotem.oren, our chief editor, conducting this enormous orchestra with professionalism, determination and an inspiring vision. I have so much respect for the way you led the season

To our senior editorial team @etaimp, Meital, & Sagi behind so many conversations, decisions and moments. To our executive producers, @ronnyfriedman and @taltzchaik, for managing an incredibly complex operation at every stage. I already miss you ❤️

To Michael, Shai & Roei, the wonderful camera team I worked closely with — and to the many other brilliant directors, editors, producers, assistants, camera, sound & lighting teams I simply cannot fit here.

To Ariel, Lail, Yair & Yair, for somehow keeping me camera-ready throughout the season — and for the patience and laughter along the way.

To the one and only @meitalbruner, the brilliant stylist — apparently, it took MAFS for me to finally learn how to dress. 😄 And to @juttou for the beautiful jewellery.

Thank you to Gil Productions and @keshet12 team for bringing this enormous project to life.

To @yael.doron.official and @gilad_horovitz my fellow experts — it was a privilege to share the season, the conversations & the responsibility.

Most importantly, to our participants: you came looking for love & allowed cameras into some of the most vulnerable parts of that search. That takes courage. Each one of you found a very special place in my heart. 🙏 for trusting the process and opening your hearts.

& to those who came through casting but for whom we couldn’t find the right match — you were part of this journey too.

To everyone who sent me moving DMs or stopped me in the street to share how something touched you 🙏 . Your warmth has meant more than you know.

And to those close to me already asking, “Kalanit, what’s the next adventure?” You’ll just have to be patient and wait to find out…

Some things are worth waiting for. I had this project in mind for a long time - to create an online course for couples where I could include the most productive and evidence-based tools and inspiring exercises to guide couples in creating meaningful and strong relationships. I actually started with a pilot in Hebrew five years ago! In the last year, I put all the pieces together and was just looking for a professional team for the production. Patience was worth it. After a year, one thing led to another and I came across Marta, my producer. Her enthusiasm for the project and energy fit well with my way of working. She put together an amazing team and I could not be prouder of this product. Today was the last day of filming, three days of working together intensively morning until night. I felt each one brought their soul and heart into it. I especially enjoyed the in-between conversations about their relationships and life in Madrid. I’m looking forward to sharing the final result with you in a month's time. In the meantime, I wanted to thank each one of them- when people work with passion, nothing beats it! Lucky me 🙏🙏🙏
