ROAD TALES & ROCK N’ ROLL: BALAS MIRAVALLES
Day 5: Old Friends, New Takes

Day five brought a familiar face into the studio. JAMIE WILSON, Filipino actor and musician with years of experience in theater, television, and film, joined BALAS Miravalles to lend his talent to some of the band’s songs.

Jamie is part of the Buhat family. He joined the star-studded lineup for Buhat Psychedelikha in 2024, and now he's back, lending his talent to BALAS Miravalles’ record.

Old friends, new takes, and a few more voices in the mix. Jamie brought a fresh perspective to the songs, opening up new possibilities for the record. Another collaboration, another layer added to the sound. The tape keeps rolling.

For the last few pages, I’ll carry you home this time.

This has to be one of the most pleasant experiences I’ve ever had in my life thus far. I’ll always look back on these days fondly, and I’ll take the learnings and the love that was built in this production in any place I go.

Like the sea turtles, who always come home.

There’s so many other people whom I was not able to express my gratitudes and respects to in this post, but every single one of these people are ones that I’ll always leave the lights on for.

Thank you so much @theatregroupasia for letting me experience this! Much love. 💙

I WANNA GO BACK 🥺💙✨ We've reached the Coda of our international premiere run and I will never get tired of saying how grateful I am for every single thing about this whole experience. 2 months of inevitable Sadness and absolute Joy, that I will cherish Forever. What Happens next? I'm not gonna Worry, because all of it, This Is Love. I don't think I'm ever gonna wanna Kiss this chapter goodbye.. It's Not gonna be Easy, but We Have To Try. I had the Time of my life, and I am definitely proud of the way I spent My Days here. Thank you to the whole company, my castmates, crew, production, and everyone behind the scenes, for welcoming me back to theater and carrying me Home too. core memory. a solid soldout run. I Love You More than I ever thought I could, my Notebook family and @theatregroupasia !!!!! that was great. I'm too happy.

Is it time for dinner? There's a river, we can eat the fish!
Love,
